Way Too Short O.J. Matthew! Vlad who 'notoriously' gets a 'juicy' retro HipHop story from a TRUE veteran like CED GEE and asks 'multi' questions sounded very uncomfortable as CED opened up about SCOTT'S demise and was uncharacteristically MORE than ready to bring THIS arc of their interview to a close.CED GEE like MC SHAN needs to release a autobiography! Its a shame they set up Scott La Rock to be killed because he wanted to sign with Warner Bros and not Jive. KRS Ced Gee and all of them were in their early 20's and broke so they just saw the upfront money and didnt know that having a label letting you keep your publishing was where the real money was. Scott knew and they had to eliminate him. KRS One took the credit for having a deal with Jive when in fact it was Scott. KRS also didn't do anything for Scott La Rock son at all. Whole thing is sad

Ced Gee's brother TR Love had a record shop in Parkchester where he was really humble as the owner and on the last days of the store gave me any my closest friend bags of albums and singles on cassette tapes for free! If you don't know about Ultramagnetic MC's then you better get up on their catalogue as it birthed a lot of Golden Era's most prominent contributors.

Okay the real reason of his murder was On August 27, 1987, D-Nice was assaulted by men upset that he had been talking to one of their ex-girlfriends. D-Nice asked Scott La Rock to help defuse the situation. Later that day, Scott La Rock, Scotty "Manager Moe" Morris, DJ McBooo, D-Nice and BDP bodyguard Darrell rode a Jeep CJ-7 to the Highbridge Homes Projects building on University Avenue in the South Bronx. As they were leaving, bullets were fired through the side and top of the Jeep. Scott La Rock struck his head on the dashboard, not realizing at the time he had been struck by a bullet in the back of his head. He was driven to Lincoln Hospital. He was conscious as he was wheeled into the emergency department, telling doctors he was feeling cold and tired. He died in the operating room. Two men were arrested and charged with La Rock's murder, but they were acquitted at the trial. So his record label didn’t had shit to do with his murder. 😒 Edited: *D-nice was a minor by the time when he joined BDP at the age of 15 people like this just be kicking shit off I was about 20 something when I heard this back in the late 80s*

There's no conspiracy. The simplist answer is usually the right one - for years they ran around blaming the govt on the Pac murder when it made more sense to look at Orlando Anderson who was the dude they beat up in Vegas that night in '96. As it turns out he was involved in Pac's murder.
