That's what she said! I remember when the coliseum was filled with video games and pinball machines. It was glorious. They also used to have a room filled with fascination games.
If you travel to Northeast Ohio, near Youngstown, check out Past Times Arcade In Girard. It has over 600+ games to choose from, ranging from mechanical, to pinball, to video. It is superior for people like yourself that love the vintage games.

I remember going here in the 90s and it was filled with tons and tons of actual video game cabinets, newest in the front and lots of vintage arcade machines and pinball machines toward the back dating back to the 1950s and probably earlier. Looks like a glorified dave and busters now with all of the generic games :(

You need to check out Past Times Arcade in Girard, Ohio. It is the superior fanstastic arcade for the games you are looking for. Over 350 Pinball Machines, About 50 to 75 Mechanical Games and about 250 vintage video games.

I remember walking thru there back in the 1980's and it was crammed front to back with arcade pac man style cabinets. And some were very old for the 1980's. they were anolog arcade games. It looks not even half full of games now. You'd think there would be more 1980's pac-man style arcade cabinet type games than what is in there.

@notyournormalg1 Жыл бұрын
Yes! Throughout the year, early entry is a thing. And yeah… for the hotel, you’ll get that access. It’s always an hour before park opening (regardless of when that time is) So if the park opens at 5 on a Thursday then early park entry will start at 4 (or at least, that is how they have done it in past years I have covered)

I don't play redemption ticket or claw games. I don't think I 'd be good at it. Even though there's some fun prizes. The grand prize redemption tickets book behind the counter had Lego prizes. There was an MSRP $500 grand prize Hogwarts Express Collectors' Edition. I think that's gone. That must be 500,000 tickets. Last Season was 3 MSRP $800 Millennium Falcons. There's some wierd prizes in the book. If they aren't busy you can ask to see it It's a large 3 ring binder. The employees can play off-duty but they cap them out at something like 20k and then it's on to gift cards. There's people who are really good at games. They give prizes away. The ladder game by MF has a daily cap at I think 3 wins per day. They're putting mini golf in the back of the main arcade. I'd have to look it up but I think it's $10 (is what it amounts to) like the Mirror Maze. When I was taking pictures when that opened the girl let me go thru part of it. It'd be fun with a little kid. The Johnny Rockets arcade was a quick & easy 'we gotta put something in there we don't even have a sign for it' after JR's didn't renew their lease. It's basically a larger Hotel Breakers arcade.
@amusement420 Жыл бұрын
@@supersanic1254 That's what I figured. For the people who are really good at the games. It's probably the 'Thrill of the hunt'. "Family Entertainment Group" that's the name I was trying to think of. I knew it was something generic-sounding. We'll see how the miniature golf goes over. People do play the nice boutique bowling lanes. CP didn't give the maintenance guy a budget to maintain the old 80's arcade games before they auctioned them off a few years ago. He put in a new Nintendo joystick in the unbelievably great-condition Doneky Kong machine I was good at. when the other one stuck so bad Jumpman/Mario would hardly move. He just happened to have one. He put the old one in the cabinet. Zaxxon had a Nintendo joystick bolted into it because the flight stick broke. It was actually easier to play lol There's arcade sites with plenty of parts. And one down the street for where I live. I've seen a multi-cade (80's arcade games in a single cabinet) in a truck stop in 2008. They could have some of those cabinets but they won't. They could rig them so you used credits not quarters or tokens. My friend builds 60-in-1's he sells. He used to ride Magnum and Maverick all the time. Was an appliance repairman at Maytag. Lived across from Sandusky Mall. He'd go to CP after work. But he moved out of state to start his own appliance repair business. (he even drove the Aamboni at the Red Wings games a couple times). He's old school 80's arcade so he has an aversion to redemption ticket games lol. CP had some rare pinball machines they got rid of in the back that no one ever really played... To put a leather couch back there lol
