Yes a weekday trip at the end of august is the best time to go (Brandon’s def right about that). It’s def worth pulling kids out of school. You’ll actually be able to enjoy it (the crowds can make it very frustrating) and weather is usually great thru first couple weeks of September. Hope you guys have a great time.

Unpopular opinion/tip, if you plan to go to Cedar Point by flying into an airport, the best airports are Cleveland or Detroit, and renting a car from there. Airplane tickets I found are typically affordable in May, late August, or October depending on which airline you fly.

Brandon, i Watched this and know you don’t go to cedar point that much a year and sence I live close here’s advice, when you said to get there early its probably not as good as getting there the last 2 hours of the park When you get there later you are able to get on rides from 5-15 minute wait time. If the park closes at I’m pretty sure 11 the last 4 hours I promise you it’s amazing. Anytime I go I’m always go there a little early but at the last couple hours I get 15 minutes wait on steel vengeance, 5 minute wait on gatekeeper, 20 minute waits on millennium force. I have already went probably 8 times this year and it has been amazing. Love your channel Best tips ever

Me and my dad went last year, on a Thursday in June, and we got everything done in 1 day, no fast pass or anything, the longest we had to wait was for Millie, the wait was like 45 minutes.

planning on going next year around the end of may/1st week of june area. i always do the fast lane stuff for bigger parks. my goal is day 1 do fast last plus, day 2 is re-ride what i enjoyed the most, and if i manage day 3 just pick my absolute favorites for 1 last ride. probably going to stick with 2 days since i'm planning on 2 at kings island also.

We always go later in the day on a weekday around like 12 p.m if it opens at 10 a.m. you beat the initial rush of everyone trying to get on coasters, everything is mostly a walk on or at worst like 30 minutes. (TT2 might be worse but we will see)

I like how early and discounted admission is included with a stay at one of the onsite hotels. I just wish those same perks were included for Cedar Point Shores because you still have to pay for separate tickets if you plan to do the waterpark.

Do they still do discount tix after 4pm? I remember it after school on Fridays when I finally got my drivers license. It was better than being out in the mid sun and I remember there were hardly any lines at the end of the night.

After watching several Cedar Point videos to prep for our trip, it made me so happy to hear you confirm the itinerary I ended up choosing! We are going June 4th-7th, staying at Breakers, got the fast lane plus(for one day so far), and the dining plan 😁 Had to go all out since we are from Cali and this has been on my bucket list for awhile! We got the fast lane plus early because its cheaper supposedly, but does it increase much buying day of?

I have to go during the second to last week of june :( only time I am able to call of work, but.... I remember that the lines were not that bad sv was like a 45 minute wait when I went in June around the same week (2019) I forgot one thing, my relatives been going to Cedar Point since the 70s and they said anytime in June (mayfly season) during the middle of weeks such as Tuesdays to Thursdays are the best.

Great video! I am leaving today for my trip and we are going to be in the park saturday through monday. Do you think it would be a good idea to buy the regular flash pass for saturday since I have sunday night and all monday as well? Im planning on getting on the big 4 towards the end of our trip while the lines are shorter and abusing that regular fast lane on saturday even if it’s on the smaller rides since we have so much time.

I hava a issue maybe im confused i went on the cedar point website and purchased 2 fastlane for 218.00. Thinking that was the price of admission ? Because on the website it didn't offer me anything else so i went to cedarpoint at gate they said we need to buy additional 2 more admission tickets at 89.99 each. Im confused is. Fastlane +admission per person $200.00 in this 2024. Or. Did i overpay ,?

Best way to save time and money at Cedar Point is probably to skip Top Thrill 2. The line will be crazy long and the loose articles policy makes it an upcharge attraction. Skip that ride and you will save time and money.

Here’s a special tip Don’t go with someone that says they’ll ride the rides with you, and then not want to ride after you get to the park. I drove for over 8 hours (from Kentucky to Ohio.) I didn’t enjoy one single second of the 4 hours we at the park. Chick caused me to waste a lot of money. Needless to say her and I no longer talk ( and it’s not because of the trip) but a culmination of a lot of other things.
