Cedar Point Vlog | May 2018 | Day 2

Glad you guys had a great trip and really enjoyed watching your footage and commentary. Sorry the weather wasn't better, but it looks like you had a pretty empty park at least. Cedar Point is definitely different in July than it is in May. Early June is probably my favorite time to go because the crowds are low to medium, but the park is fully staffed up and everything is open and running smoothly by then. May can be a bit dicey with the weather and the operations, but usually the attendance is so low that you can do whatever rides you want without waiting.

In future, we will look at tying in a visit to CP with Coaster Mania, and maybe look at doing a few more days there as well, it was great that it was so quiet but the unpredictability of the weather was annoying. Thanks for watching, I am happy you enjoyed the vlog :)

I was an enthusiast back in the day, probably went to Alton Towers 20 times in the 1980s, lots of visits to the American Adventure, went to Blackpool 2 or 3 times each year, all the big parks. Then moved to the USA. Last visit to the Towers was the year Oblivion opened. Last visit to Blackpool was the year the Big One opened. Last visit to Chessington was the year the Vampire opened! Now live in Michigan, about an hour north of Detroit so easy driving distance to Cedar Point. But I've only been once! Busy job and family, plus I'm getting old means my enthusiast days seem to be over. But I enjoy watching your videos to keep up with the latest news back home. And watching this I really need to go to Cedar Point again!

I loved your first day vlog and found your second one just as enjoyable! CP is my "home" park as I live 50 miles away and go to it @ least a dozen times a summer. Been there twice already and I'm happy you guys enjoyed your trip despite the weather. Let us know when you are coming back as I'd like to meet up with you guys. Great filming!

Enjoyed your vlogs guys. Wish I would have known you were coming as there are a huge amount of coaster enthusiasts around that would have been happy to meet up with you and show you the “ropes.” My biggest piece of advice would be to park in the back lot. You can enter the park at the resort gate next to Magnum. This will greatly reduce your walking distance and you are already 2/3 of the way back to Steel Vengeance (now referred to as (SteVe as in Stevie). Glad you enjoyed your visit to Ohio.

Thank you Craig, we will definitely be back and next time we'll be a lot more open about it on our socials too, leading up to this trip both Scott and Rich were never 100% sure of going until they stepped foot on the plane, Scott has recently become a dad and Rich is waiting on a start date for a new job. We plan to return for longer next year, maybe 3/4 days on the park and this time stay at Hotel Breakers rather than Express.

I definitely have to visit this park (UK here) Ive wanted to visit for years but I am planning to fly when being out in the states, much cheaper that way. I have to say this lol I have always wondered why another popular UK theme park vlogging channel has never visited cedar point, so thumbs up for being the first!!! lol

I often wondered the same, it's probably because they'll get kicked out for the behaviour they get away with in other parks (on-ride filming with no permission!).

I loved magnum, thought I was gunna hate it, but it proved me wrong, it’s such much better than the big one, it actually has air time, and it never has a line so you can just keep re riding

Ya, those Wicked Twister seat belts are very short for sure. Great vlog! Also, really enjoying the Icon videos, BPB is my bucket list park, really hope i can get there one day.

I was really, really surprised by how small the belts were on Wicked Twister, I am thankful for getting on it once, I really don't understand why the belts are so short though. Thank you for watching the Icon videos, we'll hopefully have a POV up this week.

Next time there will be more parks definitely, hopefully King's Island for starters! :) I plan to do longer at Cedar Point next year as well.

My 1st ride on SV the attendant pushed the bar down to hard and it hurt my thighs the rest of the day, just like you. My second ride was looser and didn't hurt my legs at all!

Oh boy, if you where here at Cedar Point today, it was fun! A lot more better then Cedar Point's opening day, to put opening day has, it was terrible. Videos are on youtube posting how bad it was. At the beginning, I love Raptor! My only dislike about it is the noises it makes, I am autistic and oh boy, I hate the noises when it is so close to you. It's so loud! But, I love the ride! Today about Cedar Point, it was sunny. Hot weather, a lot more rides open, Snoopy and Charlie Brown & Lucy dancing for guests at the front of the park has they leaved today, it was wonderful! Anyways, great video! I love how us Season Passholders (i'm a season passholder. :>) and hotel guests can has early access to the park! That is a great time to walk or take a ride to FrontierTown and ride Steel Vengeance has it's less crowded, and the queue is much shorter! Have a good day! ~SnoopyGamez

Maverick has more intense launches and does have a faster, wilder feel about it than Icon, unfortunately I am yet to ride Taron so far.

Enjoyed watching part 2 of your CP vlog! I’d love to visit this park someday. I noticed a drop tower - did you go on it? Trivia question: monster, which sat in front of the old funhouse? Never went on it myself- was it any good, and did you go on it’s cousin at CP? Any other flat rides like a classic ghost train? How does the dive coaster compare with my fav dive coaster, Shiekra?

Karl P Travis Rich and Mitch did the drop tower whilst I was on my own filming, I neither did the monster at BPB or Cedar Point, and unfortunately Sheikra was closed last year during our visit.

Maverick is my favorite ride at the park. Fun fact the covered part of the queue was the station for the old arrow log flume white water landing you can still see part of the flume that has a water effect when you walk up to the ride on standby as well as the faded logo on the tin roof near chic filet

Why do you dislike Icon so much? Have you ridden it? What I 'understand' is that Maverick is an excellent Intamin coaster, Icon is an excellent Mack coaster, trying to put words in our mouths is a bit silly.
