Cedar Walton was the first performer we ever saw at Yoshi's in Oakland, about 10-12 years ago. He never got the praise he deserved - great pianist.

The title of the composition shows up on one of the cards at the beginning of the clip, but it is not in the information section. That is why I added it. You can see elsewhere that I often add supplementary information about the musicians on these clips.

The title of the tune is GIRL TALK (Neal Hefti) . OOgle has it as Bobby Troup but he wrote the lyrics.

Since the title of the composition is not mentioned in the heading, it's Girl Talk, by Neal Hefti.

"Girl Talk" was listed as the title when I found it--sorry it got lost in the translation! It's one of my favorite tunes (with or without Cedar). Thanks for the post!
