8:52 I am pretty sure the tymna trigger would go on the stack and carlos could respond with hulbreacher but jason could decline the draw since paying the life and drawing the cards happen upon resolution of the trigger and is not mandatory to draw.

I think in the last game Carlos cast Force of Negation for its alternate cost during his turn, but it's only free during an opponent's turn. Either way, I still enjoyed the 3 games and love playing Kess consultation.

He had the mana, but you are correct. He only needed to cast Oracle, and then exile his library to Necropotence.

Game two I definitely feel Ben should've waited a turn and used top to try and dig for a land so he could've cast yawgmoths with Krik in play to have some potentially serious gas. Ended up just top decking

Ya, that's one of the hard parts of trying out this high level format is there is so much going on its easier to make mistakes. We feel like we are getting better though, but do keep pointing out mistakes so we can improve!

I don't get the hate for wheel effects. Ban Thassa's oracle or Demonic Consultation and then we'll have more diversity in the format

I kinda agree, but it’s the fact that Thoracle is blue. If it were a white card (ignoring color pie breaks) it wouldn’t be nearly as powerful.

Thoracle is ran in fast combo decks, razakatz, slower control decks, midrange, tempo, etc it exists in a massively diverse number of decks and strategies. Would changing the name of the best wincon in the game actually improve the format or are you just being shortsighted?

I agree with you about wheels. I don't think they are too much. In regard to Thassa's Oracle I do think it has homogenized the format into a somewhat boring state. I don't think its game breaking, but can be a bit bland.

I think he is saying because it is a blue card it always will have access to some of the best spells to support it. If it was white it would take more work for it to be as useful. Lets keep it friendly! :)

It sort of makes sense that effect is blue historically because they have labman and jace too, but it doesn't have to stay that way!

@@KingdomsTV ya my problem with blue in commander is the fact that If you dont run that color in your deck you handicap yourself so hard but I personally think if blue wincons like thassas oracle got banned it would help bring the color down because the counter cards aren't really the major problems it's the billion different wincons blue has
