I feel like this deck could run Tef3ri, i think if he is played in flash speed, it should work almost as a silence effect.

It could probobly be kinda good on budget. You cant have timetwister in the deck but you have other options.

Spot on assessment of the commander. Great to play with until your opponents know how it works, then it gets targeted on sight... which skews the 99 towards protecting it a lot, and ramping fast to get it into play and functioning for a quick win. I found the Warhammer 40K "squad" creatures to be quite intriguing payoff cards, where a Day's Undoing into a Prosperity and something like a Gary Clone can be a game ender if you are doing this before your turn and no board wipes come out. Also, the Spark Double/Irenicus's Vile Duplication/Quantum Misalignment/etc cards that can make a nonlegendary copy of a flipped Heliod for one blue mana can make squad or X spells double in value... anything that wants infinite mana to cast it benefits from a second Heliod in play. I saw the value in Coveted Jewel, but not in combination with Capsize, so thanks for the heads up! Silly of me too, since both are in the deck... 🙃 Also, all the blue counterspells that cost one blue and X, where they have to pay X to prevent the counter, in this deck they are all effectively hard counters for one blue (Power Sink being a nice one).

Even the Score seems like it would work every well in this, drawing you a bunch of cards for free when you have Heliod out but even when you don't it can still be instant speed pay X to draw X given. My main "problem" with this Heliod is just that its being released along side Jin-Gitaxias which I would personally build to function in a somewhat similar way but that interests me slightly more... running a reasonably large amount of cost reduction enabling a bunch of draw power that's normally a bit to high of a mana cost, along side "Copy Enchantment" type cards to get extra copies of the saga or things like Rhystic Study and you get a deck that doesn't just get a lot out of both sides of Jin-Gitaxias but can at least maintain reasonable draw power if/when Jin-Gitaxias is removed... But really none of that matters because I'm simple minded and just want to build Yargle and Multani as competitively as I can. Sacing it to draw 18 makes me feel good as does giving it haste, trample and double strike then just attacking but topping it off is confusing people by randomly winning via combos using chain of smog/acid

Now this is good card design. Powerful bot not generic... you can now play a bunch of cards that simply would not be viable without this commander (in this case Heliod) Happy to see this

i looked at this commander when he was spoiled and my first thought was also to play him with some sort of wheel comboish way. that being said i could easily see this just being build like an azorious artifact combo while i could see the big wheel effects being good letting you discount cards at up to 21+ mana rather easy, just having and opponent draw 2-3 cards by them self on there turn and then just almost storm off with mana rocks and similar might just be enough. i could see running just i F ton of rock or artifacts, some of the creatures that let you draw from artifacts and then maybe just finish the game with an urza or any thing that goes infinite with dramatic reversal. i really thing this can be build in a way where if you have the commander flipped you just almost win and if they kill your commander enough then just can still have a really good azorious combo deck. all that being said im happy to see a video on it already, i think he seems like a cool build with multible ways to make him dumb without them being all to same-y but still follow some of the same points.

Is there a reason Teferi, Time Raveler isn't in the deck? I know planeswalkers aren't that good on other peoples turns, but the effect is so powerful.

I love the idea this card is very strong… Just setup however, does require you to be on your turn at least once, and successfully invest 7 mana into the transformed God. Then it must survive without being removed, because this big body has no protection. I remember a Kenrith deck that had some type of flash component, but that commander provides many angles of victory.

Haven't you thought of Palinchron as an easy infinite mana combo? If you had your opponents draw 5 or more cards you can just tap 7 lands, cast Palinchron with 2, untap 7 lands, bounce Palinchron with 4 and that leaves you with 1 mana in pool (+2 to cast, +4 to bounce -7 to untap), rinse and repeat, also with the draw lands (Geiger Reach Sanitarium/Mikokoro) you can make everyone draw their library, add a Displacer Kitten with some ETB shenanigans and....

With Coveted jewel and Capsize you actually dont need a time twister for infinite mana thanks to the flash, you can just tap, bounce and cast in response to the etbs which you never let resolve till you can win

Where is Even the Score? That card is perfectly built for this deck. XUUU Instant Draw X cards. This spell costs UUU less to cast if an opponent has drawn four or more cards this turn. So even if you run out of mana, it can still draw you dozens of cards.

Couldn't you just use chromatic orrey with Capsize after you draw your deck and then Capsize your opponents and walking ball them?

You can make infinite mana with Orrery and capsize and then repeat the loop but drawing with Orrery instead of tapping for mana to draw your deck and win from there
