Our chihuahua became afraid of her food bowl too. We discovered that, for her, it was the sounds of the bowl (kibble against bowl, bowl against ground, etc.) it was weird bc she ate from a metal bowl in a metal stand for like 9 years. We’ve switched to wet food and a ceramic bowl in a wooden stand and she now eats happily from the bowl again.

The Hermes version is more expensive because many of the standard watch bands sell for about $400 by themselves. Also the Hermes version comes with a longer warranty than the standard Apple Watch Edition. The extra watch faces account for maybe $40 of the extra cost. As for your dog who doesn't like bowls, be sure her collar doesn't hit on the edge of the bowl. Some dogs don't like that sound.

I can’t believe they stuck with the same 18 hours for the series 10 I definitely feel like avoiding this watch, I wanted to upgrade from my series 6. Might just get an Ultra 1/2 or just wait for the next.

MY DOG DOSES THE SAME THING!!! I now feed him on a thin plastic cutting board, which is easy to wash afterward. He also needs to sniff every single bite of food, even if they're all the same.

10% drained from a 25 min walk and some basic non-use before that? My Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) does better than that and I always have battery anxiety with it. This is basically convincing me to avoid the series 10.

If it’s battery test why u charging it after ur walk. Sooo this isn’t exactly a battery test. Bcs if it was u kept it without charging while u was in the shower.

Yea, the recharge defeats the battery test. No idea what the thought process was behind that. It would have been nice if he went to bed at 100% and just used it as normal throughout the following day with no recharge to see if it actually lasts a full day.

@MrJkillahoe415 totally understand! Seen some other people charge theirs before getting started with their day but it probably would’ve made more sense for me to at least charge before walking the dogs in the AM. Good note for the future though!

I highly recommend the latest model for Belkin's ChargeBoost Pro 3-in-1 stand. Got me to use only my Apple Watch in the mornings for my walks with the doggo. (Third comment is the most heard and affirmed)

The obsessive battery checking makes the watch seem like a pain to wear. I don’t think this is a very fair representation of owning/wearing the watch. Just trickle charge it when it’s needed. I personally don’t see the reason for sleep tracking so I just charge over night.
