Este video me fez chorar morei ali bem pertinho da igreja da Lapa na esquina da Ordem da Lapa era arua que eu entrava eu morava na rua Monte Da Lapa e na rua Antero Quental tinha a Rositer Foto e ourivesaria Rositer dos meu avôs maternos para ir á escola eu passava todos os dias ida e volta pelo passeio da Igreja e andava a rua do Paraiso ate chegar á rua Bonjardim onde ficava a minha escola. Que saudades na rua Costa Cabral moravam meus tios e primos por parte de pai. Enfim vou parar ou farei um livro nao escolhi vir para o Brasil foi meu pai aí vim com minha mãe e irmão meu psi veio na frente . Depois de um ano viemos nós aqui chorei por anos a fio. При посещението ни, за съжаление валеше проливен дъжд и силен вятър, но беше прекрасно. Преодоляхме студа с малко порто и вкусно ястие. И отново обикаляхме улиците му, специално посетихме църквата Света Клара - още не беше реставрирана, но с патината на времето. Любимо място. Thank you, Miguel, for introducing us to the Cedofeita neighborhood. Very nice place. I concur with your sentiments regarding the aesthetics of the architecture of the "Casa da Musica" concert hall. My guess is that the acclaim the concert hall has received is owed to the fact that the engineers were able to overcome the challenges of the building's design and with the acoustics that were ultimately achieved.

Construction of Casa da Musica was one of those soap operas with absurd story lines. Maybe one day I'll make a video about it. 😅 The initial cost of construction, excluding the value of the land, was 33 million euros, but it ended up costing 111.2 million euros and was completed four years after the initial deadline. 🤔

What I did find fascinating is the ground around the building… waves of stone… or is it pavement too. Olá Jen! 😀 I can't stand "brutalist architecture", ugliest style of architecture ever invented. 😅 I know that Casa da Música is not 100% brutalist, but still... Those waves of stone are made of travertine marble, which I don't think is "real" marble. Or maybe it is? I'm not a geologist. 😀 Obrigado!

Spain and Portugal are very similar when you walk through these towns, except for the language and food. Wine is delicious in both countries. Bonjour ! Personnellement je n aime pas la salle de concert ( à la fin ) Il y a pas d âme . C est froid , Non cette salle de musique est vilaine. C est pas Portugais. . On dirait un bloc ! Horrible !l C est le modernisme ! En France aussi ! MAIS MAIS Certains bâtiments modernes sont beaux et ont une âme : les stades de foot ou de rugby ! Le stade de la Luz à Benfica avec un fond rouge est beau❤ Le stade de Braga avec une partie de la montagne ! Ah le stade de Braga 💚👍 Deux beaux stades avec l Euro 2004 ! OUI Le stade de Marseille avait été raté complètement raté pour la Coupe du Monde 1998 ! Il a fallu le refaire pour l Euro 2016 ! Maintenant il est bien !
