Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors From what I can gather to survive a night in the wilderness you have to put a tent up badly, get fall down drunk and urinate on other people's tents when they pass out, you then pass out hoping your tent is water proof enough to keep out the urine. Job done!

so i see why you only had 3 of these. i did that my whole childhood so i love it. guess its nostalgia now that makes me love it. but i dont have motivation to go camping with limited resources. I owe you thinking of stuff to make myself comfortable. Which might ruffing it to some but it works for me. i think for it to be enjoyable you need a base level of comfort. whatever that might be. But hats off to your wife that stuck it out til cold took its toll.

Great effort. Hint. Watch more survival vids. 1. Brother get off the ground when sleeping. 2. You had way to little fire wood. 3 make a shelter. 4. Learn just a bit more like camping in a more forgiving temp. And 5 good for your wife. What a trooper.

Thanks for the video, and extra thanks to Tree for playing along for the amusement of a bunch of plastic bags and ham sandwiches you'll likely never meet. It occurs to me that the box of water is similar in size and weight to a case of Coors cans (or Fosters, or whatever beer *actual* Australians drink.) Who knows, in my own ham sandwich mind, the cans could be useful for baking that bready stuff you ate.

maybe some rope to drag some larger logs for the fire so that it will last a lot longer through the night. that was the most apparent failing when keeping warm through the night.the total bulk content of burnable material was the reason the fire went out . some rope would be useful for adding more combustable material to the burn pile. i think that when the weather forcast says the night will be cold that the priority would be that keeping warm would be a priority. was this the reason the survival failed and that was the reason you had to abandon your survival attempt.
