@@dudleycarwash280hey! Sorry for the late reply. There are videos out there that will show you how. I had two switches as well but only wired the fan if I remember correctly. Reason being we used other lamps in the room for light. If we ever needed the light from the fan I used the remote.

Yes, using the remote you can turn off the fan and just have the light on if you wish.

hey! Im currently having an issue when pressing the power button or selecting a fan speed, the light always comes on. Does yours do the same? Thanks in advance

It could simply be the remote design. I remember it being tricky to figure out initially. Once I realized what each button did and how to work I didn’t have any issues but it took a bit.
