I am so happy Erika’s gym is such a breath of fresh air. I mean we went from Giovanni’s backstory, Leaf’s backstory, The rocket hideout, Lavenders Town’s graveyard. That was a pallet cleanser.

I've always assumed this animation is by just you and not a crew. That being said, the dedication and love put into this is unreal, just flat out amazing. It always brightens my depressing day to see you've posted a new episode. Even if it's a compilation of previous episodes. Always heartwarming and tear jerking. The way you change yet keep the storyline the same, without any issues, is amazing. It's all the above and beyonds are what make this so great. The production quality (considering one person vs entire well funded crew [game freak/Pokemon company]) is a thousand times better. Imagine if you actually had a budget and a small team with the same dedication)

If you think about it, team rocket is one of the most evil clans in pokemon, killing marowaks and making a ton of small cubones become orphans, sell their bones and skulls for money, kidnap children to work for them, aprisionate pokemon to sell them for coins in a cacino, and even sometimes kill others. I have to say, the original Red and Blue were great, but they didn't feel like they had as much drama and such. But your animation(s) have really made the game more alive. When you get everything done, I hope you'll post it as a complete movie. Your animation's not the most amazing as there are some moments which are a bit jarring, but it's still above average over all. As a visual story teller you can't be beat. I watched each of these little clips. They truly were incredible stories, and I love seeing them all put together. This series gives me life Pedro, and your brilliant work is truly, truly a masterpiece. I love it! I've said it before and I'll say it again, seeing Giovanni's entire backstory laid out like this truly is heartbreaking, the way he turned from a decent human being to... well, what he became. If I may, I have a little side thought percolating in my brain - though this is based on Pokemon RBY, there is a part in USUM's after story in which you see Giovanni having successfully captured Mewtwo. I would be truly curious to see how that played out as well, and very intrigued to see it in the context of RBY too! Raticate's passing and forgiveness always gets me each time I see it, As does the passing and catharsis of Marowak's release. Red's catching Snorlax is brilliant too. Lastly, the rocket rehoming his pokemon at the end, through the guilt of what he had done, starting his life turning around... Makes me wonder if we'll see him in the future. Happy holidays Pedro, you and your team have done amazing work.

Those people in the Celadon Game Corner are probably thinking "What is going on here?!" after Red's Charizard burst through the floor as it performs the Seismic Toss on Kangaskhan. One of many things you don't see often is something like that.

My favorite moments out of this episode are the dual screaming of Red and Charmeleon as it evolves into Charizard all while the Super Saiyan 3 theme plays, Red catching Mew after the most RANDOM of encounters causes a chase throughout Kanto to get his hat back leaves him near Lavender Town, and that moment in the Pokémon Tower where the spirits of both Marowak and Blue's Raticate move onto the afterlife.
