This is literally the only thing I care about with regards to the Oscars, I show that I haven’t actually watched in years. I really want Cynthia to win and get her EGOT. She’s so deserving. And I want her to break the record for being the youngest to get the EGOT. She’s just one of the most talented people I’ve ever seen in my life, it’ll be a shame to see that the Oscars don’t get that.

I’m rooting for her. I feel like they’re gonna give it to Demi but I’m rooting for Cynthia. Literally the only performance of the year that gave me goosebumps and chills and had me tearing up, lump in throat. I mean her final performance is what prompted me to return to the theaters 4 more times. The whole movie was beautiful and amazing but that final act has me in a chokehold. She earned the nomination and if she doesn’t win this year then hopefully next year for Part 2. I know she’s gonna tear the roof off with Elphie in her baddie era.

Cynthia’s performance was next level! I have been rooting for her since I saw Wicked opening day. Defying Gravity is no doubt the BEST movie moment of the year! ICONIC. Though she was magnificent as Elphaba, Cynthia has stiff competition with Demi Moore. Demi’s narrative and her amazing Golden Globes speech has placed her as the front runner for Best Actress. Regardless, it’s only a matter of time before Cynthia gets her EGOT. She is too talented not to💚

Let those who are strong enough fast and pray as long as we can in solidarity, even if it's just for a few hours, not just because we want her to win but because she earned it. It will be one more tragedy added to Oscar's history if they let this opportunity pass them by due to some kind of favoritism. Thry should go by the merrit and how this film moved around the world. You’re right but it was already on her resume. This is her 3rd Oscar nomination. She was nominated 2x back in 2020 for Best Leading Actress and Best Original Song for her movie Harriet.
