Here's the thing, I really don't care about the fact that he's being sacrificed. The reality of it is that if he had good moral character, he wouldn't even put himself in a situation where he could be sacrificed to begin with. Ultimately he made the decisions that led him here, period. Is it fair for him to be the only one called to the mat?- nope, but it's also not fair what he did to people that HE sacrificed for his own gain either, so there you have it, Karmic balance at it's best.
