Each year, we work to get Braille into the hands of more blind people. We celebrate World Braille Day on January 4 to honor its creator, Louis Braille, by sharing the importance and impact Braille has for so many of us. Recently, National Library Service Director, Jason Broughton, visited the National Federation of the Blind headquarters, and here is some of his discussion about the importance of Braille with President Mark Riccobono. Today as part of our celebration, we are excited to share www.Braille.day, affirming that Braille is here to stay and the anticipated future.
