Celebrated Summer - Hüsker Dü (cover)

A slowed down acoustic version of this Hüsker Dü classic written by Bob Mould.
I've always thought of this song as a sort of indie rock's answer to Don Henley's The Boys Of Summer (well, it's not -- both were recorded around the same time).

Hi, what chord are you playing on the slow section ‘then the sun disintegrates...’? I can’t see if it’s a D chord or a Sus chord & whats the picking sequence on the strings? It’s the only part I struggle with, thanks.

The verses use this chord progression: D/C/G(bass on B)/A/Bm/C/Em(run up to G)/A Note: this is just the way I play it, not necessarily true to the original
