You know it must be really nice to have a heritage to celebrate, now me as a black or as society says "African American", we have no heritage because of the fact we were forcibly brought here and sold as slaves and did not migrate in seek of refuge like the Spanish or anyone else. Black history month only applies to everything that we overcame here in America which still hasn't happened.💯

Hispanics are from Spain and are white European decent. Mexicans are of direct descent to the original inhabitants of the western hemisphere that is mostly in Mexico. Mexicans are predominantly indigenous people, their culture is based on indigenous lifestyle which contains everything that is Mexican. The influence of Spanish in the Mexican lifestyle was brought to Mexico about little over 300 years ago, Mexico's history is thousands of years old, Hispanic and Latino doesn't make Mexico and her people Spanish Europeans as Hispano Latinos. The Mexican word comes from the name Mexica where they built Tenochtitlan 1325 C.E., their history goes even further to the Mayas and to the very beginning, the Olmec civilization 2500 B.C.E. 99 percent of Mexico's history is indigenous to the western hemisphere and only 1 percent of Mexico's history is foreign influence, mostly from Spain and Europe.

language, typical clothing, architecture, gastronomy, agriculture, livestock... everything in Mexico is influenced by spanish culture.

"99"!? The whole freakin language among other things are from Spain! And almost all Mexicans have Spanish blood. Also Hispanic mean Spanish speaking. That language of course comes from Spain, but that could mean any Spanish speaking country: Mexico, Spain, Colombia, etc.
