Yes both is based on Sudhdanyasi Ragam. MASTREO ilayaraja has has composd more than 100 flim songs in this same raga with variety of Tunes. Poovarasambu poothachu & Manjolaikili dhano both songs in same Raga same movie Kizake pogum Rayil . In Carnatic music Same krithi same raagaa All were Created years ago & its sung & Repeated by So many musicians காலம் காலமா Also, for every stage carnatic singers don't have the pressure to create New lyrics, New raagam etc. they can sing The same nagumo in abheri for years...no issues. But,just think about the difficulty of film music directors.😇 For each & every film, Each & Every song they have to create new lyrics & new songs with new flavour Tat too acc to the Situations & story of the film etc. How much tonnes of creativity they must have real magic only. Aftr tat, Think about the Playback singers nilamai. Every time they have to learn a new song & sing it within minutes. They have to reproduce it like.. What the music directors have in their mind. Film music directors are Doing real magic with raagaas & Thalaas. How many varieties they have to create Appappaa...😇 Interludes Chorus Humming BGM Yegapatta instruments are used. Writing notes for Each instrument Lesupatta velayaa. No doubt film music is equal to any other music. & Raja sir No.doubt One & oly இசை ஞானி🙏 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

@@subramaniampanchanathan6384 yes Raaja has expressed this openly in many occasions - to the extent that his music is spit of yesteryear music directors like MSV. No need for him to say that. So when Raaja is praised, MSV/KVM etal are praised too. I recently viewed a clip by KVG that during a car ride he explained about Bilahari and next day Raaja recorded koondalile meham vandu, a classic. Many ardent and knowledgeable fans have dissected the complex tala patterns he has experimented (just like that without much thinking/planning) and usage of very rare ragams. No matter we like to agree or not, he is a phenomenon that happens once in a thousand years.

For folk music he inspired from sd burman sir and salil chaudry sir bengali songs Idu maadiri he has done lot of things with others help...so avaridam brammikka avar tunes mattume irukku.... Aana raja sir excelled in unmatched orchestration along with tunes. Eventhough raja sir worked on foundation laid by msv sir and other greats raja sir measured greatest heights than others without anyone to assist. I know fans of msv sir has vaithu erichal but please accept his achievements in musical world

Wonderful narration. But i disagree with your wrong comparison of no of compositions with SAINT TYAGARAJA SWAMY. Its not available with us. HIS PANCHARATHNAM IS UNMATCHABLE BY ANYONE. HE IS VERY DIVINE & PURE. WE ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO DILUTE THE CLASSICAL MUSIC COMPOSITIONS. ILAYARAJA IS GREAT MUSIC DIRECTOR BUT NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE OTHER COMPOSERS . Ilayaraja composed for kamal flim situation..Rara venu gopapala mohanam Mama veedu machi veedu song cant be sung in carnatic concerts sameway mari mari ninne too cant be sung in concerts The Bhavam shown in Kambhoji by the composer to Sri Rama is entirely different therefore its not acceptable to sing like that..it may ideal to flim to do REMIX. So it's fact and true.. and his title isai gnani means a lot.. God of music is less as per my concern. Every raja sir song has strong classical base. Thats why youngsters playing his songs in their carnatic Sangeetha kacheri. He is ocean, miracle of musical industry. I'm so sorry sir.. Still I stand in my statement.
