Celebrating THANKSGIVING in FRANCE

Welcome back to Dreaming of a Chateau!
This autumn, we start to finally feel like the Chateau is becoming home. Our guests and painters have gone, the major refurbishment work has subsided for the time being, and we three (Maruca, Caroline and Julia) are settling in for a autumn and winter season just the three of us. Robert and Penelope are still in San Diego until the new year, wrapping up their work and applying to their own french visas.
In this episode, we receive the Del Valle side of the family, aunt Carmen and cousin Fernando, who are visiting the Chateau for the first time to celebrate Thanksgiving.
We meet Abigail Carter of the Château Chronicles, whose new Chateau home is not too far from us in Agen, France. She comes to visit us with her mother in law and pup, and after a tour of the Chateau, we sit down to a lovely afternoon tea. Follow her adventures at:
