Tipper I love your garden/yard area. It is very pretty. Every spring I enjoy a "garden walk" (paying an admission of $8) to see beautiful gardens. The garden most people admire are considered rustic, homey and ones that produce food and flowers like yours. I think your garden is so pretty.

I love your yard. Especially when it's all in bloom. It's so easy to tell that you all work so hard on it. I live in southern Sandhills of NC & haven't started any flower seeds. I've lived here long enough to know not to plant much before the 3rd week of Apr. I'm from Mich where we have only about 2 1/2 - 3 mos. of growing season. I do want to try to find a grow bag & see how that will work for me. I'm not much of a gardener but just love being able to be out puttering around. I'm 75 , widowed & live alone with my dog. We're both old but we love being here together. :-)

You all got a lot done. I’m so behind. We’ve also had a lot of rain and I have degenerative disc disease in my neck that is inflamed again and I’ll have to get that under control before I can get out and dig. I have another condition where I take a blood thinner so can’t take anti inflammatory medication and no herbs. All prayers welcomed. We have someone that target practices in our neighborhood too. It’s really loud sometimes especially during black powder season. It does scare you at first. I would have jumped out of my chair too. 😂 Enjoyed the visit.

Good work ladies. Veggies are really coming along. Love my columbine but so do the deer. 🤣🤣 I have mostly pink, yellow, red varieties. More face up than yours. English Ivy is a huge problem here. It can kill a tree, take over your shed. Tipper, we took six weeks of drivers ed too. Then school coord a group afternoon of testing. The guy from the DMV was not a cheery guy. Scared me. I wore platform shoes and he made me go to the gym and get sneakers. He took everyone through the same route so the first students told the rest of us. Good because it was in a section of town I'd never been through.

Up in WV it has been 60s and low 70s. It is so much greener in NC! Trees are slowly budding out here though, and the ramps and mollymoochers are up. I had a baby on New Years Eve, so I haven't been out in the woods much this spring, but he's almost holding his head up and we have been "practicing" with a backpack carrier so I can take him out to explore.

Back in the day, when whitening was more popular, I did that for a little while, but it made my teeth more sensitive than they already were. Well I fixed to solve that by getting a sporting bite guard. It was a rubbery tray that was shaped to cup around your uppers or lowers. I filled the tray with Anbesol and just soaked my teeth in there awhile. Now, I'm not suggesting you do this; however, one of those rubbery bite guards at night might help with clenching and grinding. I hope you get it sorted out soon and God bless!

This winter under cover of darkness, the deer have eaten all the ivy. I caught them red handed when I turned on the outside light at the front door. For years I couldn't understand why the ivy looked dead...no leaves... but then in the summer it would have a come back. Evidentally the deer like ivy leaves in the winter when there isn't much else to eat.
