I love small mom and pop stores. Used to visit Mt Airy Emporium until they closed and old trading post up on Blue Ridge parkway until they closed So sad 😢. Tipper your porch is the best. Freezed dried is the thing now Similar to Concord Store in Meadows of Dan ❤❤. They have everything. Styles come and go. Pretty much a shopping center !! Almost like a Bass Pro shop Thank you tipper

I taught in a small rural/farming community in Indiana for a couple of decades. For those who did not, you have no idea how valuable stores like this were! I still have plastic utility bucket ... a good 40-years old when I first moved there into my first-ever apartment. I will never ever find another as good or sturdy. Make lots of money! Be Proud and Happy! I have no doubt through the years they have doled out money to many who were in need and actually asked.

I'm from Quebec Canada and it amazes me to see the huge selection of guns and ammunition etc. sold so freely where you folks are from. You would never see that back here.! What little they do sell and I don't know where that is is under lock and key. Even bee bee guns. Lovely store! Would have loved to have seen Matt treat himself to that vest and you Tipper to a nice dress and a nice pair of shoes.

My family found Alexander’s Store way back in 1973 when we used to camp every year at Trackrock Campground-owned by an Alexander brother. Wonderful memories of my childhood!! I’ve taken my husband there a few times so he could experience it. He loves it! I always tell him how the store used to look when I was a kid. So much has changed, but it’s all wonderful! ❤️

I have no idea why this wonderful video appeared in my feed but boy, it brought back a flood of memories. Alexander’s was my daddy’s favorite store. He passed away a few months ago. I can’t count the times he bought us Christmas gifts from there. He visited often. Thank you for showing the world how amazing they are and bringing back so many happy memories for me.

What a fun tour of a store I haven't been to in several years. When we moved to North Georgia 20 years ago, we saw it referred to as the Hillbilly Mall of Georgia, or similar nickname, by one of the regional magazines. It was already pretty big, and seemed like every time we visited they had added a new section. Can't believe how much it's grown since the last time we were there. So proud they carry y'all's cookbook ♥️

Oh my goodness! I'll be visiting Blue Ridge, GA to take the train trip from GA into TN this coming fall. I do have both Blairsville and Helen on my list of places to visit and will definitely be visiting Alexander's Store. I do need a new Bible cover/carrying case, so one of those will be in my cart for sure!! Another must have is one of those gorgeous handmade pottery mugs and bowls!! I am almost positive that is the store I bought a dress at when I was 18 years old. I was with my sister who was visiting her in-laws in Blairsville. I’ve been married for 53 years and that was the year before my wedding. I don’t think that would be the same location but there wasn’t much in Blairsville at that time. It was a store that had everything! Anyway, thanks for bringing back a good memory. We have friends who live in Ellijay and we may be going home later this summer, so maybe she and I will go there when I visit.

Golly, I wish we had a store around here like that. What caught my attention right away was how neat & clean all the displays were. Not all jumbled up & messed up like our stores these days. It indicates how respectful the shoppers are in your area where people put things back after they've looked at it instead of just dropping it down on the first shelf they find. I teared up when I saw your cookbook on the shelf. It was good to meet the owners of Alexander's. Wish I could visit that store.
