I have never understood the need for the question. What does a woman's pregnancy/non-pregnancy change for the person who asked? The majority of women have that little pooch of extra padding around their belly as it is there to protect their uterus & ovaries so we can carry further the species and protect babies even more whilst in utero, plus we like to eat sometimes and that can cause a little bloating/full belly pooch. First, I love your hair! Mine's only 4 colors LOL. Second, I had anorexia, and at age 14, 5'4", I weighed 80 lbs. When my pediatrician asked me why I thought I was fat, I told him it was because of the little pooch I had that I couldn't get to go away. He replied, "you will always have that there, because your organs have to have someplace to go." I'm now 41, still built small enough to wear girl's 14/16, junior's size 3 clothes--& still have that pooch, but I'll never forget his comment; letting me know there was nothing wrong with me, & that's simply how women's bodies are made. 💜

Back when bars were a thing, I was drinking and smoking on the patio, when an old man started lecturing me about drinking and smoking while I'm pregnant. He was really passionate about it. I told him I'm just fat and that my babies are grown. He was immediately sorry and sweet after that :D NEVER assume that a woman is pregnant. It'll come back to bite you in the ass.
