That’s the catch the government really did want easy access for people because if you’re a small business like my uncle, that’s a DJ you don’t have weeks or months so you can afford to wait to have your paperwork processed. You need your money right away. It was hard for him to tell his sister. Hey, I’ll have the money for the bills. Whenever the government gives me the money I applied for. Six months later Paperwork couldn’t afford to still be getting processed. The rich the wealthy they had access to lawyers to accountant, they were able to figure this stuff out far faster than the rest of us. They actually had their paperwork on the desk at some of these offices, literally minutes After they started accepting paperwork. Meanwhile, most of us were still trying to look for the website where we should go. Oh these individuals got over on government, but we left things easy to access because we wanted people who needed it to have access it just so happened a lot of shady. Individuals came in firstwe never dreamed the people could be this dirty, but they can’t be.

Sadly, it’s not a crime we intentionally wanted it to be easy for people to access this money. My uncle DJ in Michigan needed access to money like this. Imagine a DJ trying to prove to the government that he DJs three times a week typically makes $1400-$1500 a week and here are the receipt that I turned into the IRS every year please process my paperwork. I need the money in the next 14 business days and the government says well you know we’re in the middle of the pandemic. Most of our workers are sick as well or they have family members that are sick so you just have to wait until we can get to you the government realized that processing paperwork, especially when millions of people needed help all at the same time would be impossible to do so. They relaxed standards on what would be acceptable because we need to keep money flowing into the economy or risk a true depression. Notice that despite running into a pandemic, we never said recession not one time. Whether you love or hate Donald Trump whether you love or hate Joe Biden guess what from 2016 until 2024 no recession. Even when experts kept saying we’re going to have a recession next year, we never had one. Even in a pandemic when other Country said we can’t send you that stuff right now no recession. Yes, a lot of people got away with plundering a lot of money but what was the alternative a depression think 2008 depression people losing houses business is going bankrupt. Don’t get me wrong businesses did go bankrupt during the pandemic, but I’m talking about like world ending bankruptcy that we almost saw in 2008 events. Sad to see small businesses go bankrupt but imagine if some of those companies that hold those big life insurance policies go bankrupt. You suddenly don’t have entire economies anymore countries go under. I hope that makes sense.

It’s not illegal. That particular subset of the SBA for people in the entertainment industry left it wide open for what you could apply to use this money towards because people in the entertainment industry. They do do a lot of different things that other entities might not. Take travel people in entertainment really do travel a lot. They might rent tour buses. They might rent band equipment. You have to leave things a little bit open so that they can use this money towards those endeavors. Sadly, none of these endeavors are illegal. Remember, government wanted to get money in the hands of people so that the economy didn’t grind to a halt. My uncle DJ in Michigan needed money to pay his bills. People were not throwing parties during a pandemic, he couldn’t DJ he needed money and he couldn’t afford to wait weeks or months for the money to come through. He couldn’t afford to have to prove to the government pay here are all my receipts for all the years I’ve been DJing. That’s why the government made it so easy for someone to simply apply for benefits. The catch is you have people like this who applied for benefits and they said yeah I make X million dollars a year give me the max.

Once the government gives you funds, they own you. And I prefer to own my own business. So many other I've heard of that had their businesses shut down and even sent to prison because of this "bailout money". Serves them right.
