right. i wonder if you would still say the same if you were homeless and had your kids taken away by cps because they got sick without a roof over their head and no access to proper healthcare or because they were starving or malnourished ^^ when it comes to money or wealth in general, a certain baseline is required to maintain a solid quality of life, that reduces stress because you don't have to make the choice between paying bills, purchasing food or other necessities in life. privileged people often fail to see that, because they've never had to struggle that hard. money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure AF gets rid of a f*ckton of problems that can ruin your life^^

There is a difference between being "rich" and being "wealthy" Joseph Heller was at a publishers party in New York...he was introduced to some Wall Street poo-bah who asked him how much he made for the years it took him to write Catch 22 When he was given the answer he scoffed that he made what Heller made for his book every week Heller replied "Yes...but I've got one thing you'll never have" "Enough" That's the difference

You can tell all of them are saying that because they just wanna do the things they do (acting) for the sake of acting and talent not for being famous or rich or anything. Leonardo dicaprio uses his fame to talk about climate change, kristen stewart does not even have social media, johnny depp is now in a very bad place, tom holland just wants to play spider man for the sake of his childhood etc. They are all doing what they love yet get treated like shit bc of the fame. They kinda lost their passion.

Can I share something with y’all? All my life I just wanted to be famous and I would daydream about what it would be like to have everyone with their eyes on me, admiring me, etc. But I recently started working for a newspaper doing lives on Facebook, and let me tell you the internet is BRUTAL. They come at you about every little thing you say, or they comment on your appearance, even the smallest detail someone comments on my videos could make me feel so insecure. And I haven’t really received backlash like some others have. So I know now that I am not meant to be famous.. I don’t know how people manage to be famous and not lose their minds. PLEASE BE NICE to people on the internet, please please please. Even if you disagree with something someone says, be kind and nice

Thanks for your honesty. I suppose many many people dream about being at Hollywood and going to those events, knowing other famous people, having the admiration of others, ... There are celebrities who have a real passion for what they do and they are very centred within themselves. They know their happiness is not coming from anything in the outside world, but from their appreciation for themselves and the life they live. A good portion of gratitude and of empathy is also a plus when people follow you on the streets or you are interrupted while dining. All the hurdles that come with fame may also be perceived as a way to become more comprehensive, more empathetic and to become more humble. You can make everything your practice :)

Let me get out my tiny violin. As saying goes, "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen." For all their talk and complaining, take this to the bank: They're not going to do anything of the kind. Because they DO love the attention, money and fame. They just want to control the kind they get and who it comes from. Sorry folks, the profession doesn't work that way, right or wrong. They KNOW going into it, it comes with an entire package of attention. The profession is very much an ego driven one. Each of these people make regular rounds on all the talk shows, give interviews in this and that magazine etc. And then bite the hands that feed them. Seriously? Well then, they should immediately stop all of that, take their millions, donate the money they complain doesn't make them happy to charity, and very quietly go into obscurity/another occupation that guarantees their privacy. Another guarantee: none of them are going to do that!

Whether ur famous or not both lives are isolating if people are not good hearted. If people don’t have humanity it’s difficult to make friends. Most people will stay isolated & alone. @@aaliyahclark4179 I have to respectfully disagree. Contracts can be broken, and often are. Money and fame can very easily be walked away from. Years ago, I had a wonderful job, great money, was around many prominent people. Something came up, a situation that required a tough decision. I had to choose between staying there, or taking a huge hit/loss. No question, I took the tremendous loss. Long story. Important lessons learned: the world didn't end, I survived, AND, someone else as good as or better had the job. I learned how important I'm not. The term ‘Happiness’ is a modern mispreconception. Life is about gratitude, community & mindfulness. It’s about living in a beautiful, natural world that is full of miracles. It’s not about materialism & ego & plastic surgery (yuck). Life is about love, solitude & a huge inner understanding of our wondrous planet. It’s about understanding the biodiversity of life. This life isn’t only for homo sapiens (who do a great job of fucking things up)! It’s a world brimming over with the most amazing, adaptive life forms, which are all so incredible (words can’t describe it). I can go on & on but i won’t because each human has to discover for themselves. Believe me, it’s not only about human centricity! We as humans have so much to learn about many other amazing lifeforms below the oceans & in the rainforests/desert wilderness etc etc. The way we’re behaving towards other animal species, the balance of life’s existence will slowly succumb to our greediness & ignorance. Just enjoy our blessed time in our world full of love & wonder 😁

It's about worshipping God and realising our purpose of creation. Without God you and I have no actual purpose, and were just a group of molecules. If I were to then recommend suicide to you as it doesn't really change anything (just transfers energy) then you and I wouldn't want to. Why? Because we've got a bucket list of things we wanna do. Do you see the problem with that? Were justifying existing using the possibility of attaining things. But the truth is that you and I should stay alive because we were created as Gods humans. He created us as the best of creation and we have him to thank for that. And in thanking him we thank ourselves. And in getting closer to him we become more good and upright and love wondrous lives, staying away from immorality and corruption. Without God nothing matters, but he must exist because we all have a basic understanding of right and wrong which doesn't just come through chemical evolution

They know going in what comes with the territory. It's no secret and has always been that way, right or wrong. To now have fame and fortune, and then complain about the baggage is just as egotistical and self-serving as the profession itself is. These people are not naive. Anyone who pursues acting loves the attention, lets not kid ourselves. They cannot now pick and choose what kind of attention they do/don't like. If they were really sincere about getting rid of what they call unwanted attention, and what makes them so unhappy, then they'd quite simply take their millions, or donate it to charity, and walk away into privacy and obscurity. Translation: get out of the business they claim isn't giving them happiness. Guaranteed, they're not going to do that because, and again lets not kid ourselves, they DO like the attention and fame. And for all their talk about how money and fame don't buy happiness, you can take it to the bank that not one of them is willing to walk away from any of it.

You might be interested in reading the free book The Sudist Way (sudism.org/the-book-of-sudism/), which talks about how wealth, fame, intelligence, talent, or beauty do not guarantee happiness at all. Here's one part that talks about fame: Elvis Presley, the late “king of rock and roll,” once reportedly opened up to his hairstylist-slash-spiritual advisor Larry Geller about how hollow his Hollywood life felt. “I mean there has to be a purpose . . . why I was chosen to be Elvis Presley,” he was quoted as saying, “I swear to God, no one knows how lonely I get. And how empty I really feel.” Tas Pappas had a difficult childhood, which fuelled his determination to become the world skateboarding champion. He believed success would cure his mental anguish. Looking back at the year he became the #1 ranked skateboarder in the world, surpassing even famed skateboarder Tony Hawk, he said, “I was like, now what. I still feel like shit and I still hate my guts . . . turning world champion didn’t fix me, like I thought it was going to do.” Tom Shadyac, accomplished actor, writer, and director, was living in a 17,000-square-foot mansion when he made a life-changing observation: the people cleaning his house and taking care of his yard seemed to be happier than him and other Hollywood millionaires. This led him to sell his mansion, move to a mobile home, donate much of his money to charity, and produce Happy, a film about the search for happiness. ------ You can get the free ebook The Sudist Way at sudism.org/the-book-of-sudism/ or for free from Google Play, Kobo, Apple Books. Take care and be well. :-)

They were happy on being famous and rich. Only nothing last forever; happiness, sadness, contentment, etc..the good the bad anything..nothing takes forever. There are more happiness in stability and balance, so these famous people and rich people have and have been a good life any way than poor people..

Thats true rushing fame or taking it for granted is not a hood way to go about it. If you treat it like a responsibility and you enjoy it as a section of the rollercoaster of life then you can rule over it and it cant rule over you.

Actually being famous is a very amazing thing temporarily but when it's permantely process it's going to be too tough and that's why alot of celebrities are suffering from depression because of not being themselves most of the time ,they have alot on the table if they go anywhere they are going to be pursued all the time or they don't have any privacy, their life its it's just like fully of haters ,rumors ,criticisms and derision ,they are under pressure all the time ,especially women they need to doll themselves up so they resort for plastic surgeries and so on ,they real happiness could be found so simply if you love and be comfortable in your life with your environment and your surroundings,so they basically aren't happy at all because some fans treat them like gods ,I've seen so many videos of their fans just screaming strangely at them for a picture or some of them jumping from buildings they just take stuff to a whole new level ,life like that is just too tough being provoked and criticized for little things or judge them by their appearance without knowing anything about them personally!!

Yes. there are problems with being rich and famous, but it's interesting that none of these folks stopped, and tried to return to a normal life. They all enjoy the fame and popularity. It is hard to give it up. There is more good than bad for sure.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 Fame *is often perceived as a path to happiness, but those in the public eye reveal it comes with challenges and constant scrutiny.* 00:57 Success *and fame can lead to unexpected depression, creating a feeling of living in a beautiful prison.* 01:27 Being *famous restricts everyday activities, and the isolation can be mentally overwhelming, sometimes leading to self-medication.* 02:20 The *reality of fame may not align with expectations, and some individuals realize they aren't meant for the spotlight.* 03:13 Fame *is a gradual process, and rushing into it or taking it for granted can have negative effects on mental well-being.* 04:02 The *misconception that fame guarantees a perfect life is debunked, emphasizing that neither money nor fame ensures happiness.* Made with HARPA AI

Not true You think my father adores to work a meaningless job for a meaningless payment?plus, the time of the job is pretty messy, so no Ofc its not anyones fault, but he has to do it that's a crappy difference, unfortunately and that's why a lot of people are sad, some of them don't know who they are anymore, or clinically depressed As much as you want to express yourself , to be kinda accepted, u also want to be different, free, happy, be your own boss, having a social life
