Actors who don't have fame want fame. Actors who have fame, complain about the fame. For the actors who lose that fame, some struggle to get it back. Those perks of fame, and there are many many perks, come at a price.

I often wonder, the actors who have fame, and complain about it, if suddenly no one wanted to take their picture, or have their autograph, how would they really feel?

Imagine if every impactful person you know never showed up, and all they hid in their shells. It's like no we can't conceive of that. So why do you believe it is inherently wrong to be celebrated or have eyes on your work or impact? You want the money but don't want to provide value & be recognised for it? That's a deep sited issue and even if you hid you still have the fear of being seen. So let's actually unpack that

Mari H I think you will know if somebody is in your life for the right reasons because they will be the ones arhat will stick with you when you don’t feel on top of the world. Or you’ve made a mistake/ mistakes but they still accept you. Or when the media is representing you like a villain. The good people are the ones that will stay with you no matter what.

I think the reason why Tom Holland kind of likes being famous is because probably almost literally everyone has a positive and human reaction ("Awww 🥺") to him, while a lot of other celebrities probably get different reactions, where they're usually seen as almost super-human, god-like. But when people see Tom, they find him kind of cute and open up emotionally, and thus see him as an actual human being
@kayiness Жыл бұрын
Ironically, that's partly because of the character he plays being that same type of regular guy's guy. He's also just as famous as Bieber now so wonder how he feels now.

I agree with you all 100%! We need to find a way to reign in the pops a bit more. I'd like to see more celebs suing the rags when they print inaccurate info especially about personal relationships. If we don't stand up to them and hold them accountable- it will only get worse.

If people had a life wouldn’t spend time caring about someone else life. I can watch a movie, appreciate the performance and skill of the actors and once the movie has ended, so is my interest for the cast. Same for anything else….football, f1 etc etc. The work of a good actor is as good as the one of a good nurse. Never understood people that cry or want an autograph or been portrait with actors, footballer etc etc. it is plain crazy. I couldn’t care less.

I actually think that this kind of conversations, and people who experience fame honestly sharing their actual experience of it IS what will change how we see all see (and whether we even desire) being famous😅 Simply because famous people cam have larger outreach, you guys sre actually the ones who can really change it and have as result in few years normal exerience.. because you know, most people might be sturtles by seeing a “charcter from the movie” in grocery store or in airport, but they realize you are not your carachter and honor your space. I hope you realize it. It is just the those that have romantic ideas about what obsession with you as person of many others actually does - these are the wants who just need to hear the truth 🤷🏻♀️. Like, listening to Robert speak of driving home and finding people waiting. This is .. actually scary.. bunch of strangers that are kind of out of their mind, because Robert driving home is not his character. Just a random dude going home and in this context its pretty violent to stock him.. I mean good for him that now after how many years of going through it 🤔 he manages to let it slide.. but I wish the young him .. those who are this age now and on the same path will not have to deal with it.

Hi everyone in the comments im a rap artist named Foe Brasi and you’ll never hear about me on the boards. I turned down the interview that all artist ends up on called vlad tv. 2017 I was about to do my first interview but I chose to walk out due to the vladtv issues. I walked into a black covered room sectioned off somewhere Vlad is a real person but never shows He’s on FaceTime Ask weird life threatening questions and I just walked out before cameras rolled vlad sent a follow email apologizing but saying that was my last option into the industry. To be honest it isn’t worth it even at that point in your career you have to notice sum things and go with god everytime I’m glad to be alive and well in 2021 to tell this because I was 18 or 17 and I’m not those other guys that interview was scary to walk into I know my power vs theirs I wasn’t gonna let them have me too I’ll be fine. The consequences behind that came Noise level of popularity went to 1 I wasn’t able to get hired after the interview anywhere (I never noticed until I got a little older) I was called psycho for months of being bashed and not through the media goes to show THEY have their ways I’m fine now but will never get recognized again a simple person as needed💯

I remember an interview of britney around 1999-2000 where a french interviewer asked "how does it feel being famous", and she said "it feels awesome, being famous", really without a doubt or without even thinking about her anwser, you could tell her anwser was so spontaneous and real. I also remember Vanessa Hudgens's answer to the question by Tyra Banks "whats your favourite thing about being famous?" and she said straight away "the free stuff haha!!" Actually Britney got asked the exact same question in Disney world around 1998 when the single Baby one more time came out, and her answer was the exact same, she said "my favourite thing is that I get sent all these free clothes and stuff like that, and I love clothes so it's pretty cool" lol. I think from the outside we make it look chaotic sometimes etc, but i think most of it is pretty "cool" for the ones that are "famous".

We desperately need to re-define the meaning of success! "Money doesn't buy happiness", maybe it does, but only temporarily, a shallow pursuit as many famous "unhappy" celebrities have also resorted to drugs/alcohol which is another epidemic and suicide! We see that all the time as in the last decade there was a whole rash of celebrity suicides! This is nothing new! This has been going on ever since the Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s, but it has escalated! The statistics fill the Hollywood Death books, even their children! Sadly, it also exists in the fashion industry, the music industry, the sports arena and politics as well, along with everyday people who aren't famous! Celebrities get paid millions of dollars, get too many awards which also contributes to the celebrity narcissism, how they get their "narcissistic feed"! While a great many in society are lucky enough to have a roof over their heads, food on the table and a pot to piss in! READ "Simple Prosperity' and 'AFFLUENZA" , another society sickness by David Wann and other authors, still another major epidemic here and another pandemic worldwide i.e. the super wealthy one percent oligarchy which contributes to Global Warming/Climate change i.e. "over-consumption"! The landfills are filled with everything over-consumed and non-biodegradeable, some for 500 years! "AFFLUENZA" is also a great documentary to watch and still needs to go viral! So to begin with THINK GREEN and plant more trees! Think Globally, ACT locally! Deforestation and the destruction of the Amazon rain forest in Brazil has also contributed to GW/CC! The United Nations recently released a CODE RED ALERT forewarning us of dire consequences by 2030, that's just 8 years from now and by 2050 if we don't ACT NOW! "If we destroy the environment, we won't have a society'...per the late American cultural anthropologist Margaret Mead in the early/mid 20th century! "There is NO Planet B", obviously! WAKE UP CALL, before it's too late! Peace, love and namaste~
