The fun part about Mari is despite how bitter she seemed, she still to this day jokingly gets angry about how quickly she was voted out. She clearly had fun and wanted to last longer, but if she was THAT mad I don't think she'd reference it as much as she still does.

My problem with casting celebrities is that they are often (not always) rich. And rich people obviously have less motivation to go all out to win the game. BB in Borneo and Jimmy Johnson both threw in the towels. And Mike White admitted he wasnt giving it his all at final tribal because hes already rich and Nick could use the money more. I feel like every player should ideally play at 100% motivation and effort, and not be influenced by how rich they are

Another funby thing about Rocker pretending to be Wetteland, is that the latter ended up going to prison for pedophilia related crimes.... 😊

Besides Jimmy Johnson and Chase, John from DvG is easily the most famous person to play the game. Bro has been on TV since 2000 and has appeared on more episodes of television than Jeff Probst himself. Not to mention movies, video games, and social media following.

lol this is definitely due to my age (I'm like 6 months younger than Survivor itself) but the only celebrity I've ever recognized on this show was the the teaser for next season when J Maya showed up and I went hey it's that singer from tiktok!

Can't believe you didn't bring up Chase's appearance on The Bachelorette as musical guest/ex-boyfriend to the villain of the season 😂

Lisa Whelchel is the celebrity Survivor player that comes to my mind immediately... surprised to see it takes 2/3 of the video for her to be mentioned lol (i don't care about sports at all 😅)

One of my favorite moments of Rocker's tenure on Survivor is Jon Misch demolishing him in the jousting challenge. I don't think Survivor advertised very much that Misch was a starting linebacker in college (we went to the same school at the same time), and I remember it caught a lot of Survivor fans off guard to see him overpower Rocker like that. And, of course, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy (though Misch likes wine, so clearly he's a jerk, too).

My realisation Mike White wrote The White Lotus was crazy. I was watching it and saw Kara from David vs Goliath and was like "WAIT, WAS THAT KARA? WHY IS KARA HERE???" Then in the credits I realised who Mike White was and was just flabbergasted.

When I found out John Hennigan, Morrison, Nitro, Impact, Elite, Survivor I completely lost my shit. He was my favorite wrestler as a kid and he’s still great in my opinion.

Parvati and Amanda are seen briefly in Into the Blue 2 movie. Then again, that movie was direct-to-video, so I guess that doesn’t meet this video’s fame requirement…😂 And several Survivor contestants made a movie called The Scorned with none other than Rob Cesternino writing the script. But less said about that movie, the better…. 🤣🤣
