I’m a 71yo Veteran and a retired Corporate Pilot. I totally understand why he’s a pilot. I want to go fly any aircraft everyday. I’m not a Scientologist but I do believe we’ve been visited. I’ve flown approximately 15,000hrs. and only once did I see something in the night sky that looked very strange and when I checked with ATC they saw nothing. Tom Cruise is the only reason anyone wants to pay to see the movie in the first place. Without him, the movie would flop or make far less money. He is actually underpaid for his value. Tom does his own stunts, too. He's the biggest star in the world-- the proof is the money he makes the industry. Nobody is going to pay much of anything to see these other actors because they just aren't worth it. They aren't very interesting and could easily be replaced. That simple. You don't replace Tom Cruise. He's the rarity. None of the other actors will sell the movie. That's how the economics of the business works.

TOM CRUISE is a good example of everything that is wrong with Hollywood today. I avoid seeing movies with him in them, because I just am so sick of him and his over-rated acting skills...And who really gives a shit about him ? His church just uses him for his money, and I do think he should maybe change careers and start donating his $$ to charities who could really benefit from that. But he is not really known for giving his money away- even though he is ridiculously over paid for what he does.
