We would always cruise on Celebrity, but lately they have priced themselves out of our range for what is offered. They have eliminated perks like on board spending offers, eliminated prepaid tips from the all inclusive plans, raised drink prices so that now you are basically forced to get the premium beverage plan. We would routinely book Aqua Class which included all inclusive, but now that seems a waste especially on Edge class ships where you have multiple dining rooms to choose from. We have shifted to HAL and are loving the Have it All package. There is no need to upgrade the drink pkg as most drinks are no more than $11.

Personally I think I prefer Beyond, Captain Kate for one main reason, but from what I’ve seen of the futuristic corridor, I much prefer the one on Beyond, but again these are small differences! We also don’t do the drinks packages as they are far too expensive! Great video!

My wife and I are looking at booking a 11 night Panama Canal & Southern Caribbean Cruise for early April 2025 on Celebrity Beyond. We sailed on our first Celebrity cruise on Equinox back in October 2023 in a Aqua Class cabin as we like the spa amenities. So this time we locked in a Aqua sky suite on deck 10 on Beyond as we figured we could have the best of both the retreat and spa amenities you get with Aqua and all the other perks. Like the premium wifi and drink package and other perks as well. It is very pricey about 8K to move from Aqua class to the suite but with 11 days and I believe 5 sea days and 6 ports of call it may be the right call? We shall see.

Wow. Your video was spectacular and amazing and your videography and editing is top notch. I really appreciated your review since we are about to board Ascent in April for a 13 day cruise. It will be our first time on Celebrity and I can’t wait. I will hold high standards, but from what you say I might want to be open. I always go with the attitude of having a great time from what is presented. It’s vacation. Thank you.

We currently have Ascent booked for NYE next year. We've ever done a NYE cruise before. Did they have any special NYE events? Do cruises ever do fireworks? Thanks for the review!

Being teetotal I don't expect I will have to take out a mortgage for my liquid refreshment. My only quibble is that I'm not a fan of large ships and the huge crowds they tend to draw.

Completely Disagree that Celebrity Ascent isn't as nice as Princess Ships....Celebrity is much nicer and invites a younger sophisticated cruiser....Princess invites older people with wheelchairs, walkers, and canes.
