So since he was "barely legal" meaning he's just above of age of consent, which again, 18 is usually the magic number, it's fine. People only started making suggestions off age consent etc when they noticed physical maturity especially in women often ends around age 16. My grandparents had a 25-year age gap. My grandpa already had 3 kids when my grandma was born, and 4-5 kids were born at the same time as my grandma and a couple of years later. Then they met when she was 20 and ge was 45. My grandma got pregnant, and then they got married, then had my mom, then had my aunt a couple of years later. Imagine your dad(my grandpa) marries someone your age(my grandma). Like my grandma had step kids older than her and the same age as her. And by that time, her step kids already had kids of their own. Like my mom has nephews and neices older than her and the same age as her, crazy. Its kinda sad tho bc my moms siblings were already adults when she was born, they didnt like her. They didn't treat her like a sibling, and they didn't really like my grandma. So my grandpas side of the family shut my grandma, mom, and aunt out and in doing so bc im the child of my mother, they didn't like me or my siblings either. The only sibling that was actually semi nice to her was her two older twin brothers. They were like 13 when she was born, but after like she turned 5, they kinda shut her out too. It's sad bc my grandpa died when my mom was 8, and her siblings took everything of her dads from her. My grandma, mom, and aunt were left with nothing of my grandpa except for a couple of pictures. So, growing up, she never really talked to her siblings. She doesn't know her siblings. My moms brother died(one of the twins) this year, and she wasn't even told and wasn't invited to his funeral. Now that everyone is older now, they still dont really like our family, but we talk like twice a year if something happens. I think that they hold resentment. It's crazy to think about all this stuff. My siblings think my mom and dads age gap is bad, 6 years, then i remind them about our grandparents' age gap. Me and my eldest sister share an age gap of 12 years and we have different dads but she raised us like full siblings and to be close, she didnt want what happened to her to happen to her kids.
