Again, I’m very impressed with these MDR dishes. It’s encouraging to see that the food scene is improving. All of this looked great. This is what I call an adventure. It’s what included cruise food should be! The chateaubriand looked incredible. That’s a very expensive cut of meat. Joann said the lobster tasted perfect. I could be wrong, but I believe they put the tails in a large steaming unit, and that’s how they cook them in large quantities. Steaming is the best way to cook lobster tails, IMHO. The Baba au Rum looks like a must-have. Can’t leave the table without a customary crème brûlée though. Wow. All of this looks so special. Again, the chateaubriand looks very well-prepared. I’m super impressed by all of this. Except I’m disappointed to hear the lobster bisque was a big bummer! I enjoyed this video, you guys! 🤗 ~Scott

Order both and you have a top-notch version of surf & turf. And yeah the Baba au Rum and crème brûlée were excellent as well. Overall, like you, we were quite impressed by the quality ingredients used and the skill by the Celebrity chefs/cooks.

Did somebody say *lobster?”* I’m at work at the moment, so I’ll have to bookmark this for later. Loving the food offerings so far! Because for a while it seemed like both Celebrity and their parent company, Royal Caribbean, were sliding *waaaaaay* downhill there for a while. From what I hear, it seems like both brands are listening to passenger complaints about the food quality in the last couple of years, so I’m encouraged. Let’s hope they keep it going. I still miss the unlimited lobster tails 😆 - not complaining, just sayin. 😆

We just got back from a 10 night cruise on Celebrity Silhouette. The last “dressy” night I ordered the Duck L’Orange and the Citrus Roulade. Both were excellent. I’d give the food in the MDR an “8” out of “10”. We ate there 9 out of the 10 nights and always thought the choices were quite good. The other night we went to Tuscan Grill. I thought it was just ok and not worth the $$$. Thanks for the video!

We looked at the menu and nothing stood out there vs the MDR, but now we'll be sure to avoid it when we go on Celebrity in the future 😁

As one who does not drink alcohol, I could not help but notice that many of the most interesting looking dishes are loaded up with alcohol - like the duck a l'orange.

Just did the Lobster Night on Royal Caribbean and was unimpressed. The size was so small, it was dry and they didn’t offer a rammikin of butter with it. Definitely disappointing.

Yeah nowadays the cruise lines that still have lobster night give pretty smalls ones. On Celebrity though you can ask for an extra one and they may accommodate.
