Cafe al Bacio is one of my favourite places on Celebrity ships. Lively coffee, tea etc and delightful table service. Relax in comfortable seats and enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere.

If sailing from Florida go for the burger, absolutely delicious. Tried one on a med. cruise and its not as good as those served out of US ports.

While on the Millenium in February 2022, the poolside grill was a major disappointment. The guys running the grill could NOT produce a french fry that was completely cooked and cruisers were bringing them back. Yes, seriously. We kept meaning to stop at the Cafe for a snack but we ran out of stomach space ... it all looked great.

Sorry to hear that! We actually enjoyed the grill at the pool on the Millennium- they grilled up some nice burgers. Don't remember much about the fries though. On the Apex, however, it was not good at all as the burger patties were from warming drawers vs off the grill.

Have you tried gelato or was it too expensive for you? Pastry and cakes were complimentary, weren’t they?

We did not try the gelato- it did look pretty good. The ice cream at the buffet was really tasty, so that pretty much satisfied us in terms of the cold dessert 🙂. Yes the pastry & cakes were complimentary- most of the food on the ship were.

That's a tough one! Celebrity is up there for sure along with Holland America & Princess. But all the other cruise lines have their own good eats.

Yeah that was because of a fixed length lens which had better low light image quality. But we have switched more wider lens in our newest videos. 🙂

Round tarts, cookies and tart/pies were good but all the flour cakes were disappointing sponge cakes missing butter and moistness that I'm used to from American cakes. Truly dismal in texture and flavor, but they make great mousse.

Snack foods on Celebrity are way better than Norwegian. They just have the typical hot dog, burger, fries stuff

The desserts on cruise ships always taste so generic... like they're all the same mix and they put chocolate frosting on one lemon on another and raspberry on another and call it three different desserts

Oh no!!! What to do???? I love rum cake but despise most anything coconut. What a horrible predicament!!! I almost had to rant and yell at you. I’m originally from Chicago, where it is practically a desecration to put ketchup on a hot dog. But since you handed it to your son, Chicagoans will give you a pass. Thanks for another great video.
