@Candy Jackson I’ve been on both edge and apex. I loved how apex made the Eden restaurant more accessible and less esoteric. It was a wonderful cruise despite Covid protocols

I was thinking of booking a single cabin but wanted to see how much space you get because on NCL Epic, they only have the inside single cabin and it is very, very small and tight. This looks very spacious and the outdoor space is nice too. Yes, can't find a lot of single cabin videos. Again, thanks..

You’re welcome! Yes, it is 142 square feet as opposed to NCL’s 99 square foot studios. I really enjoyed it and felt it was plenty of room for one.

You’re welcome! I could not. There is a doorway from the elevator lobby into the hall, so the rooms do not open to the elevator lobby.

I really love the infinite veranda but I do not like how they can lock it remotely. One of my favorite things is being out on my balcony in sometimes inclement weather!

Hi Beth, I found your video searching for a review of this type of room on the Celebrity Edge. I'm looking to travel next August 2023. I was wondering did the lifeboats bother you while you were sitting on the veranda? Also did you hear a lot of noise from the elevators? What was your favorite speciality restaurant? Hi Thea! As far as sitting out there, I’m not really a sit and stay on the balcony - infinite or otherwise - kinda girl. I’ll go out and watch the sea for a bit staying standing and then come back in. (I also like a/c too much to have left the window down or a regular balcony door open.) Sorry I can’t help there. No noise from the elevator area at all. Eden was hands-down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The MDRs were all good. I liked Tuscan the best and switched a couple of the ones later in the cruise around to go to Tuscan instead. Cyprus was a surprise second. Then Cosmopolitan. And then Normandie. Happy sailing!

I've been on Celebrity twice with friends, which was fabulous, but I'm planning a solo cruise in January 2023 on the Apex, so I am wondering how that would be. Thanks! 😊

I had a wonderful time. I'm pretty introverted, so I don't go seeking a lot of interactions or worry about sharing meals/activities. I'm fine eating solo and prefer it to being stuck at "solo dump" tables. I never saw anything planned for solos, but I wasn't looking for that either. Sorry I can't help more with that.

Thank you so much for posting this video! I was fantasizing about possible future vacations and randomly arrived here. This answered almost all of my questions about a solo cabin on the Celebrity Edge. Probably when cruising gets to be up and running again the Apex will be operational as well. Were you able to store anything under the bed? P.S. small world connection - been on some zoom calls with Beci Mahnken's co-workers Sara Vance Varney, Sharla Manglass, and Heather Coursen. I've known Sara for over 15 years. Obviously, we were 10 at the time ;)

You're so welcome!! When I was researching, I had such a hard time finding anything on the solos other than one video in a different language. I did put my suitcase under the bed. I might have had to open it (it's a hard-sided roll-aboard), but it definitely fit under there. I'm in the same cabin - or maybe two more forward as the Apex is adding a few - for my 4 cruises scheduled for Apex. Oh super cool small world!!! Beci and her team are the best!! My direct agent is Jacki York, but I bounce a lot of things off Beci!

Thanks for your video! Definitely going to book a solo cruise in 2022 on either the edge or apex. Did you have any issues with noise below the room? I usually try to get a floor with staterooms above and below. So I am curious.

You’re welcome! All are on that deck, so all have the lifeboats. Most have the lifeboat support to some degree. This one is one of the less obstructed. And being more Moana (I look to the line where the sky meets the sea) it honestly never bothered me. Pretty sure that bit that juts out is just part of the counter. I don’t recall it being a drawer. I had plenty of space without needing more.

No. Which is one of the reasons I love them. I hate cheesy activities.

I slid mind under the bed. I'm pretty low maintenance and travel with a carry-on bag only, but I think a full-sized suitcase should fit as well.
