This is my favourite segment, followed by the Guess the date, and the team game of averages. It tests my knowledge, teaches me something and entertains me - in fact, I could say the same thing about the program as a whole! As a Canadian, I've learned enough about football (players and managers) to discuss the subject with my English husband!

The game where I am always much better than the competitors. Not that I necessarily know the answer, but I always know where I put my mark.

This is my favourite of the games. Followed by "Put Your Finger on It" and "And The Answer Isn't". I also like "Bits of Hits" and "Win When They're Singing" I wish they'd do more than just three locations in each round, so I was thrilled once when they actually did four.

Brussels Airport chocolate sales / its 800 tonnes a year not 800 tonnes a day. If it was everyday every passenger would have to buy 10 kilos.

Given how badly they usually do in the UK/Europe/US/Australia, the chances of them doing a round of Central Asia is slim.
@billswifejoКүн бұрын
@ sadly true, but since they are often guessing anyway, they might as well guess somewhere else. They could make the first part of the question easier. The other day, Richard asked where Dolly Parton recorded her records. I didn’t know it was Nashville, but can find Tennessee on a map! 🤣

I'm from the USA but I love love love love love this show - my one complaint? Too many soccer questions (but you call it football) :)

Take it as an invitation to start to pay attention to the sport.
@buretto6616 күн бұрын
@@DomenBremecXCVI The USA has paid attention to the sport for nearly 50 years, since the likes of Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, et al. graced the NASL in their golden years. Nobody cares. It's never going to take. Too boring. And I say that as an avid baseball fan, which very rightfully can be called boring as well. Nearly every kid in America plays soccer into their teens. Then the vast majority leave it.
@DomenBremecXCVI16 күн бұрын
@@buretto66 I understand Americans aren't watching football regularly, only during World Cups and similar events and I wasn't suggesting that you should all start. It was more just an encouragement to Michigan Pie to pick any club and just look into their story and find out more that way, no need to watch the game.

I got 7 bang on correct plus I would have put Nadal's birthplace in Barcelona, would have gotten that point, and would have put Einstein in Vienna so would have gotten that point. I love to see geography questions like this with a map, fantastic, but would love to see more than just the UK, Europe and the US being involved.

In the American Civil War, I think there were only 2 battles fought in the North. Spoiler below. One of which was the Battle of Gettysburg. We visited Washington recently and I briefly considered the possibility of a day trip to visit the battlefield, which is an hour or two drive north of Washington in Pennsylvania.

I love the demonstration of scale in the USA map, when Richard says the mark in northern Georgia is "just above Florida". For comparison of distance, that'd be like saying Newcastle is "just above London". 😉
