@@ericabassi7728 True, but also, I'm almost certain they could be making more money from sponsorships and brand deals. Like Jenna boyd, for instance, was bragging about being in the top 2%, but according to rodan and fields own income disclosure statement, the top 2.3% of their paid consultants (which is only 55% of their total consultants) only made $13,000-$15,000 for the year in 2019. And that's not including their expenses! I don't get it. It's terrible business. Unless they're getting paid on the side by the mlms to promote their companies. Thats the only way it makes sense for them to do this over traditional brand deals and sponsorships to me.

it's selective communication, hardly something we've not been exposed to before. it's basically the same thing that politicians, TV preachers, motivators, advertisers and assorted snake oil salesmen have been doing for ages. long story short, the concept behind all this crap is that being condescending and patronizing (that I personally find quite creepy), with a pinch of assertiveness here and there, is perceived by the average man as reassuring and inspirational.

On the show Kelly tried to talk about her beach body business, but Netflix didn’t let her specifically say she was a beach body coach. She was hardly on the show and when she was she would mention her “work.” I already didn’t like Kelly after she made that comment saying that her partner wasn’t good looking enough when she’s the worst looking one on the show. He was much more handsome than her and she had the audacity to say he wasn’t attractive enough? Anyways, I’m not surprised she’s a beach body coach. Today I almost was scammed. There’s a girl I’ve looked up to for a really long time, she’s amazing at makeup! She always does these looks that would just blow your mind! WellWell she’s been messaging me about foundation. So I talked to her about it and went and looked at her webpage and was like... “why have I never heard any influencers talk about this?” Well I asked her if she’d matched me and she said “hold on, I’m talking to my upline about something!” 😳😳 I said “GIRL! Is this an MLM?!” Which, of course it is! You need to do a video on them! Bc I’ve never heard anyone talk about them before! She almost got me! They’re called “Farmasi” their consultants are “influencers.” I’ve been looking it up ever since! The income disclosure statement... Girl!!! It’s a joke! And nobody knows about them!!! We need to get the word out!!!

What an absolute joke it’s like they don’t even care to try and sound appealing, it’s like a slap in the face to intelligence.

However, the following projections below reflect estimates prepared by the company pending a more detailed survey to be conducted after its first year. Based on industry standards and company projections, the average annual gross revenue for Entrepreneurs is projected to be anywhere between $500 and $2,000. Please note: These numbers do not reflect the expenses associated with building an Farmasi business, which could exceed the commissions received. "

My mom has signed up for 3 separate mlms throughout her life. Pampered chief, stamping up, and now beach body. She actually teaches piyo classes now. She signed me up with my email without my knowledge to improve her numbers, and it’s just really caused a lot of turmoil in our family dynamic. She became obsessed with losing weight to the point that she was portion controlling, calling herself gluten intolerant (without a medical diagnosis) and working out for hours a day without taking care of her children. It was my job to make sure my siblings ate, because my mom didn’t want to cook food she couldn’t eat because the temptation was too much for her. Honestly this has been so unhealthy for her mental and physical health. Both I and my sister developed eating disorders because of the body shaming that was rampant in our home. The only way to connect with our mom now is to engage in her unhealthy “health” routine and our relationship has become extremely strained. -3/10 would not recommend.

I actually commented something similar on a different video just a bit ago, but now that I'm reading someone else saying it, I think I might understand. I would guess that they're told not to reveal the company's name right away, not until they are DEEP in conversation with their next target, otherwise they KNOW that the target is going to head straight over to google, type in the name, and be overloaded with pyramid scheme articles!! If they've already baited the hook and come up with a few reasons the target "needs" their product, THEN they'll start slowly revealing what it is, probably still not referring to it by name too many times. They want you to feel uncomfortable saying no to them, which means they want you deep into that talk first before risking losing your potential purchase.
@donnakaren2748
@donnakaren2748 3 жыл бұрын
The reason they don't usually is because they have no way to check if you ever went to the site and they don't want to trust you can shop on your own. They usually don't have codes for people to use and if they do they can't force you to use it. So they want to verify they will get paid.

I decided to try NU SKIN just to see what it was all about. But I left very quickly, constantly being told not to reveal the company name, because people will run in the opposite direction if they straight up know. Wasn't sitting well with me. They say it's just strategy, but if the business is so amazing, why be worried that people will run away from it at the sight of the name. It's very manipulative and dishonest.
