Nice vlog. We’re sailing on the Reflection in November. We’ve been to Key West before, but this time we’re picking up a metal rooster and we’ll try the Seaside Cafe this time, mmmmm lobster roll.

I enjoyed your video. My cousin and I are about to set sail on the Celebrity Reflection. We will be visiting Key West. What is the best mode of transportation to see the sites?

Hello! Thanks for watching! Nicole and I walked around Key West and for us that was the best option. Our friends rented a scooter which allowed them to see a different section of the island. There are golf carts, scooters, and trolleys you can rent or ride on to get around if walking isn’t the right option for you. The get on get off trolley made several stops along Duvall street and the main touristy areas and people seemed to enjoy that.

We just came from a week of camping in Key West. We found out from the Trolley peeps, that many locals have a different price plan for port days??? They raise their prices when there is a ship in port. We were floored.

I guess they justify it with supply and demand; there’s a ton of people that get off of the ships and there’s limited resources available so they feel they can raise their prices. I know the city and state have also limited the number of people that can arrive by cruise ship per day as well.
