They are my favorite geniuses exemplified by AIN'T NO STOPPIN' US NOW. I could be in bed with aches, pains and an unforgivingly painful disease but if Ain't No Stoppin suddenly came on the radio, I would leap up and dance (on rollerskates)!

I love your content, so thorough and well done! It’s like listening to an uncle tell stories, I can listen for hours. Great job!

Could you do one on the OTHER members of Parliament? We always hear about George and Bootsy, but there were plenty of others that contributed to the sound

They have an Unsung episode. All of them are on there, including the women telling their story. It’s really sad. I saw George Clinton a couple yrs ago in San Jose. He sat in a chair with a guitar while a bunch of youngstas jumped around in costumes

You mentioning Georgie Woods just took me back. We used to have George Woods Potato chips. Philly legend

I remember when that song first came out, it was literally played EVERYWHERE!!! You couldn't walk down one city block here in NY at that time without hearing that being blasted from somewhere.

I remember seeing Otis Redding being pulled out of the water on his Unsung episode. He was helping a lot of up and coming people just like Sam Cooke. Otis was only 26 yrs old
