As a proud Canadian from Montreal I was brought to tears of joy for our native daughter that we love so much . What sickens me though is how quickly the haters came out of the woodwork to belittle her performance to say that it was pre-recorded and not live. Anyways all I could say is bravo and hopefully welcome back. I am so looking forward to seeing my 10th concert of hers whenever and wherever it will be. 🇨🇦

Nothing like making me cry my eyes out, again. This beautiful lady has impacted the lives of million and millions of people who love and support her. I hope she knows just how much we love, support and appreciate her. She truly is a warrior in life... a survivor against near impossible odds and still there she is, larger than life proving to the world just how strong she truly is. God Bless her and her family. She's an Angel on earth.

Sorry , but this "performance" had Dion miming/"lip-syncing" to a heavily produced prerecorded track _and_ what's even sadder is that the vocals were tampered with; manipulated using _'pitch correction'_ software . The music business is mess today with both "artists" and producers to blame for the current dismal state of affairs. Something really must be done to address the wide-scale, wholesale deception that is taking place. What we all witnessed here may have been dismissed as something of a "one-off" (event) in the past _a la_ the now legendary Whitney Houston SuperBowl National Anthem Performance (also faked, the very *real* beads of facial perspiration notwithstanding) hence viewed through more forgiving lens *however* , what occurred at the Olympics this night _in the rain, on the Eiffel Tower_ no less, has now come to be considered/accepted as an industry standard. Almost all recordings are undergoing these manipulative voice altering processes with even "live" performances being given the treatment ; subjected to such "corrective" measures either in real time at the concert venue itself through "autotune" installed in the onstage sound system or later in post-production for recorded releases of the "live" performance intended for consumption by the general public. Truly tragic.

@@dwrdwlsn5 What are you babbling about? Dion did not sing what went out over the airwaves that evening, not that night _or at any time prior_ . The sounds listeners heard were heavily produced machine altered("pitch-corrected") voice samplings previously recorded and put together on a track for later playback in a well rehearsed mimed performance. Are you mentally challenged or ill? _'being a jerk'_ is one stubbornly refusing to accept a simple truth in favor of remaining in a state of delusion and ignorance

Seeing that young boy in the video reminded me so much of myself. In 1990, at the young age of 8, I remember the first time I saw Céline on TV. The next day, I made my parents buy me her first English-speaking album, Unison. Since then, I have seen Céline in concert seven times, have followed her career and trajectory, and have shared many life moments with her. My mom passed away on the day that Renée passed away. She will never truly understand how much I truly love and appreciate her.

Whoever made this video thank you, but I don’t know why you chose to put in clips of her having an severe attack in one of her worst moments from her documentary video into one of the most incredible moments, her singing/performance at the Olympics!! That was so unnecessary. She’s battling a rare neurological disease, stiffperson syndrome, she’s in one of the greatest fights of her life for her life and you choose to show clips of her at one of her lowest vulnerable moments when she can’t control her body and what it does, really??
