@akaRicoSanchez6 жыл бұрын
There is some serious bullshit in this game though. Off the top of my head, some offenders are big rooms that require tight timing that is almost impossible to control through the whole room, so you just know you are going to die 400 times until the stars align, the fact that gripping walls is dependent of where the character faces, not the direction of the characters' movement (supremely annoying in the windy sections), there are many mechanisms that are stupidly finicky (the timing to get jump boost off clouds, the bump off the bumpers, the push off the exploding blocks in the core), there are sections with a thick layer of infuriating semi-random stuff (hello snowballs to the face, hello charging ghost-like thingies), some hit boxes are incomprehensible (Oshiro, ghost-like thingies), etc. It's still satisfying to overcome most of the game challenges though, but people with a tendency to break stuff when angry will probably find it to be a very expensive game. The worst problem for me though is indirectly related to the game. It so happen that when you use the D-Pad of a PS4 controller the grip is not very comfortable and the nature of the game makes me hold the controller way harder than I need and should (That would be an interesting study in biomechanic and game design, because the tightness of the hold varies greatly from game to game, it is probably friction related - like pressing forward harder when walking against the wind). As a result I have a super sore first joint of my left hand's middle finger. Tough is the life of hearts and strawberry collectors :(

I guess Tim has a strong following. I was hoping for a quick review leaving me with an understanding of whether I'd like the game, and instead found a lot of personal narration and text/clips whoosing over the gameplay so I couldn't see it.
@krp81546 жыл бұрын
I do not like the jokes, Tim. I think though the game seems amazing, this video seems overly pretentious and too much like a puff piece- and not like from someone who genuinely likes the game. I think it is possible to inject some warmth into this format and still seem irreverent and robot-like. Just my 2 cents Timothy.
