Celeste Strawberry Jam - Flipside Cliffside by The Cookie Monster and Appels (Full Clear)

Flipside Cliffside is one of the coolest Grandmaster maps, and it's kind of hard to believe its main mechanic has been out for over 3 years without anyone using it (besides me.) The map was created by Cookie, but when they disappeared mid-development, it was taken over by Appels who made the last two rooms. The map features a longer original soundtrack than some games, having a full half hour of music written purely for it by Teo. There's a main track, a track for the berry called "The Crux", and a track for the cassette berry called "The Edge" which is not included on the album. If you're going to play one Grandmaster map in SJ, good luck, and let it be this one. It's super beginner friendly for those new to the difficulty and just feels good overall. 10/10

to get to the berry at 2:12, i used the dream crystal to go through to the crumble platform, waited for the crystal to respawn, went back through, dream double jumped, collected the dream crystal, made it to the wall, climbed up, then used the dream dash to make it through that cliff

i know how u feel, i keep seeing videos of levels with my music in them and they keep editing out the good parts :P so rude lol just record the game sans audio and add the music in later

this is the one thing i really dislike about edited celeste content; the levels just arent long enough to play out their full soundtrack, and so the soundtrack is usually abruptly cut, whether by splicing or just ending early. im writing a longplay TAS for example and purposefully making the player fuck around in the prologue just so the soundtrack can hit the right beats.

you can get to crux by dreamjumping once but ofc 2 ckicks and a 4tile is easier

Does the casette room's tempo feels off or is it just me? It feels like my ears and eyes are fighting each other. When I turn off the music, I legit cleared the whole room on first try, and I can definitely feel the difference in dream hyper consistency after multiple clears with music on/off. Maybe it has something to do with the nature of coyote frame dream hyper not being in sync with casette spawn timing.

Just cleared this map. You need to jump from the very top of the bottom part, so you basically need 2 climb jumps - one to pop yourself up and then the second to actually jump forward once you're at the top. It's like setting up for a 5-jump. From there you just need to do a neutral cornerkick.
