i used to play celeste a lot, and i was pretty good at it. i did all the b and c sides, got all the crystal hearts. i came back to it a while later for chapter 9, and i did that too. i recently tried the game again and now i’m a lot worse, but i’m confident that i could do these (with a lot of trial and error) if it were 2 years earlier.

Great question! I personally found cycle rooms very difficult, so 3D in particular was hard because of that. However, each chapter has its own difficulties, so hard to say for certain.

Spikes only hurt you if you’re moving in the same direction as they’re facing. With some well timed hops + the moving block + some jank for good measure, it doesn’t register.
