Celestial Pearl Danio Care Guide! - Amazing Nano Fish!

Here is my guide on how to care for Celestial Pearl Danio (Celestichthys margaritatus) [CPD]. Galaxy Rasbora (Celestial Pearl Danio) care guide for aquariums. Galaxy Rasboras are colorful, peaceful fish that require a minimum of a 20-gallon tank with plenty of open swimming space and hiding places. The pH of the water should be between 6.0 and 7.5 and the temperature should be kept between 68 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. They prefer a planted tank with plenty of floating plants and driftwood. A good diet includes high-quality flake and pellet foods, as well as occasional brine shrimp and bloodworms. Galaxy Rasboras should be kept in small groups of 5 or more and should not be housed with aggressive species.

Can’t wait to get these and show my step Dad. He’s been looking for fish that look like trout for years. Gonna surprise him and offer to do a tank build for his birthday 🥳 thanks for the tips. Have a lot of tanks and love large large schools of small fish my friends and family don’t see often. My nieces and nephew enjoy coming over because I have the “aquarium house”. Lol. Love it

They are in a beautiful planted tank. I’ve had a large school of cpd in the past and now have chili rasbora’s. It’s nice to see them together. How many gallons is this tank?

In My tank the are dying all the time and I am trying to find the cause. I have 60 liters tank with Redcherry schrimps, 3 x neon inesa, 10 x celestial pearl danio. Always their disease starts with smaller belly, and they dont want to eat. I used plenty of Times Sera Bactoforte to cure them but it doesnt help. Do you have any idea ?

Sometimes it’s a quality issue with the fish, poor breeding mainly. Seems like it could be an internal parasite issue. I think API does an anti parasite medication which is effective

The gender ratio for this fish play a huge role. If you have 6 with 5 male and and 1 female then you'll end up with 2 or 3 of them left so instead of min number it is best to have more female than male like 2 female & 1 male or 1 male and 1 female.
