Wow! It gives me chills just by watching your videos! You are so talented Celina 👌🏼 You know what? Im in México and nail techs here dont use hard gel, not even 0.10%, only acrilyc. Its such a shame, because in my point of view, monomer could be toxic, at least for me because I have a kidney condition and every time i used it, my kidneys hurted. Searching online is when I discovered the gel option, it changed my life, i can tell that I finally found my passion and thanks to this great alternative I wont give up on my dreams of becoming a great nail tech. Beautiful, glitter like that makes it far from simple 😍 Have you ever tried to do color blocking with gel? I love the look with acrylic but i like to use gel primarily. I think it can be done with builder gels and a lot of patience 😆 but i would like to hear what you think if you have a chance.

Love your nails Celina, I love how impeccable your work is. I love your style. I’ve recently switched over to light elegance hard gels products, I’m new to this line and I would REALLY love your input. I’m going to attempt my first set of nails using your sandwich technique. What’s your choice powerbond or tack? I find that when I apply powerbond before I get the hands in the lamp it starts to spread unevenly am I doing something wrong? After your choice of bonder does it matter which hard gel I choose to apply that first layer with ? I have fiber and one step. I’m familiar with hard gels as I’m a gel tech but new to L.E, which is a better gel to sandwich or build apex with one step, cool gel or extreme. Does the cool gel have any heat spike when used with the L.E led lamp? Thanks for your time, I wish I could attend one of your classes, I’m in Texas tho anything out this way??

I have noticed that many persons that have their nails done seem to have what looks like super extra dry skin - sometimes it almost looks as though something is wrong that their skin - that it is damaged. Is that because of the products that have to be used to prepare nails - hence the need for cuticle oil. It’s just something that I see with several of the videos on you tube that deal with acrylic nails - so am curious. Btw absolutely love these colors.

Nicky Narbin When you apply gel/acrylic or any type of nail product, the nail needs to be 100% free of oils and moisture. For that we use a solvent usually made out of alcohol and some acetone. This will temporary also dry out the skin around the nails during the application process but is then hydrated again at the end of the service with some cuticle oil and lotion. Hope this helps ☕️
