I’ve experienced doppelgängers with myself, mom, dad, and grandmother. I’ve been completely alone in the house and heard someone calling my name clear as day. One time when it happened with my grandmother I went downstairs to see if she was home she wasn’t nor was anyone else. My dog Phin who never growls at anything or anyone stands infront of me and growls and bares his teeth at something in front of me. Safe to say I was freaked out

6:59 I know how this happens. Security cameras don't always refresh every pixel all the time in order to save bandwidth or disk space or whatever. If there is a portion of the image that doesn't really change, it'll just substitute in a still image at that part to focus on what is moving. So it took a moment for the camera to notice the motion and start including it in the feed. It's not a glitch in the matrix, it's just the software trying to be overly efficient. Watch some Corridor Crew debunking videos. They're educational AND really fun!

I’ve studied doppelgängers and it’s actually really interesting because there are a few types. There’s the traditional doppelgänger (which get its name from a German writer in the 1770s) but have been called things like a Fetch in early Irish lord dating back to 19BC. Usually to see your own doppelgänger means death and to see a loved ones means they’re very sick. But there is another type of double spirit called a vardoger that’s originates in Scandinavia and they are kinda like projections of someone’s soul or actions. So if you see your brother come home, then he disappears and you see him later wearing the same thing, that’s a vardoger, which are said to be spirit guardians and very good luck. Both resemble each other identically down to smell mannerisms. Another is a changeling in Irish and African lore.

The remains of dire wolves found throughout North America put them at just slightly larger than modern timber wolves (i.e. about 1m at the shoulder), but if there's a surviving population that has had thousands more years to evolve and adapt to a more northern lifestyle, it's entirely possible that they have become the size of a small horse!
