I’m so relieved Celine didn’t play the part and speak politically correct. Celine sensed foul play and called it into the light! She’s an Angel for that! I’m glad she made Robin squirm. Someone needed to stop the smiling and giving fake condolences for the evils that were done to and around Whitney! Way to go Celine!

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. She never said she died of a drug overdose. She said it was sad that drugs took over her life, and they did. Whether she died that way or not doesn't matter, you can only assume that they played a part since they definitely affected her health and where she went in her life.

She was simply making some assumptions that she probably does not need to be doing, but i am sure she was not meaning to throw whitney under the bus. Celine Dion’s reflections on Whitney Houston’s passing are a poignant reminder of the profound impact Whitney had on the world. In sharing her thoughts, Celine honors Whitney’s remarkable talent and the deep connection they shared as artists. It’s clear that Whitney’s legacy continues to inspire and resonate, and Celine’s heartfelt words underscore the enduring respect and love that exists among those who were touched by Whitney’s extraordinary voice and spirit. Their friendship and mutual admiration shine through, highlighting the beauty of their bond and the timeless influence of Whitney’s music.

@BZBlaner Celine doesn't have to answer or talk to ONLY what an interviewer says. She's HUGE in the entertainment industry and she wears her heart on her sleeve. If you knew anything about Celine is that she is the kindest most sincere person in the entertainment industry. She is one of a handful of people in the biz who can genuinely say they walk the talk. No skeletons, no drugs, no alcohol, no prejudices. It seems to me that you are irritated because she can't nail her on anything. Sit down.

@Chimier There's nothing at all offensive about Celine's remarks. It's no secret that WH struggled for years with drug addiction, and that she had chosen to surround herself with people who did not have her best interests in mind. She readily admitted as much, many times. Celine did not say WH died of a drug overdose." She said "It's sad that Whitney Houston's life was negatively affected by her poor choices, particularly her drug abuse." That's totally right, and not even remotely wrong

@Chimier she said it in a loving way though because her like the rest of the world since whitney is an icon, she had to get it off her chest since she was probably distraught over it. I'm sure she was still mourning in the midst. I dont find what she said wrong. It's true. Drugs and pills is an issue in the entertainment business for whatever reason. Because of it, whitney is not with us. But in any case, people should focus on remembering whitney for her enormous talent if anything.

This is the truth, and we all sat last week and saw her leaving the club, to the pics from this week of her “hard partying.” At some point, you need to have some chill and say enough is enough. She didn’t have cancer or get in an accident, Whitney was playing with her own life for years. 48 and menopause is a lil to old to try to be a rolling stone (albeit old at any age); Its unfortunate but don't go blaming Celine. And if she doesn't speak about it now when will it be known? Its terrible that Whitney can't be remembered for the person she was, but rather for her voice.. this is not racism I speak with for I am black. I loved Whitney, but with all due respect she killed herself, she came equipped with free will and had the power to say no, but she didn't and now she's dead, you can't bring her back so stop coming on here to bash Celine for speaking out on a monster killer i.e drugs.
