I have used these lecture videos since my matric in 2017- now(2nd year university) and increased the logical flow of some terms in processes.......continue to bless students with very productive knowledge

Your lectures are extremely in depth and useful. Many thanks! I've gone through the many videos in your channel and it shocks me as to how well developed everything is, right from the lecture to the neatly laid out notes. This work is much appreciated sir!

Very good information. I had never heard about the hopanoids before. Whenever I go back to review information I studied before I always pick up more tidbits like that. There is always more to learn!

This video is amazing! Your attention to detail (for example the dipole moment of the phosphate group) brings clarity to everything! This will be the first of many videos I will enjoy watching to help me with my studies. I can't thank you enough. Massive thumbs up

I enjoy your lectures thanks. An important note is that non-lateral movement of phospholipids does rarely and slowly occur through the enzyme flippase. Cheers!
@AKLECTURES10 жыл бұрын
I left that for when I start biochemistry :-)
@maelbariou45799 жыл бұрын
You're saying that vertical motion doesn't exist but there's the flip-flop which occurs very rarely but it exists. The electrostatic repulsion are overcome thanks to the use of ATP and proteins such as flipase.

Hi! I found your tutorial videos very helpful. I would just like to ask if you can explain further more about the fluidity of phospholipid bilayer due to the presence of cytoskeleton. This would really help me a lot.

i would have added that on top of cholestrol, the saturation of fatty acids also control fluidity due to kinks, but i guess its in the biochemistry lectures probably.Overall im loving the lectures
@AKLECTURES9 жыл бұрын
setsuna fseisei yes, thats exactly right! thats more of a biochemistry topic and so I saved it for the more advanced section! the length of the carbon chains, the number of double bonds and things like cholesterol control fluidity :) but ill talk about that in more detail in the biochem section! anyways, thanks! glad you like them

Yea man, you really know your shit. I'm pre med and have been watching most of your videos; they're the most thorough by far..don't skip a beat. I'm wondering when you decided to make the shift from math to pre-med or if it was something you always had in mind?
