I'll save everybody a lot of time. Go to your microwave, open the door and put your phone inside. Close the door do not turn on your microwave. This is the easiest Faraday cage you can have for your cell phone. A microwave is at Faraday cage.

Wrap your cell phone in aluminum foil. Perfect Faraday cage. Some food packing materials are made of coated aluminum foil to make it stronger. These work well too.

@@jaymarr4124 yes I've noticed that some packages that used to isolate, don't isolate anymore. How? I don't know. I do know thou, that a true Faraday cage can never be penetraded by any means. So keep on trying different metal materials.

Actually, this isnt really a Faraday cage because it a solid enclosure, while a mesh with relatively large openings of 7.8 mm will effectively block of 1900 MHz GSM signal.

Need a metal bread box with charger(s) inside. Now, thinking ahead: Take two sims (or two phones) with two different accounts (say Google and Samsung). Use one only for outgoing and one for incoming. Could somebody stitch it together? If not, there you go.

Idk bout that but a thick enough conductor will block any frequency. You just need to pick the right metal.

Please go look up the definition of a Faraday cage or shield, this is not it. Let me help: "a grounded metal screen surrounding a piece of equipment to exclude electrostatic and electromagnetic influences." Your can is not a screen and is not grounded.
