Over the past months I've read articles and watched interviews about wargaming a fight between the US and China over Taiwan. These have been run by both the DOD and private sector think tanks. From what I've seen, these consistently show both sides taking significant losses, but in the end China loses. In some scenarios China gets a foothold on Formosa, but is unable to reinforce & supply its forces enough to exploit the situation. These games seem to be based upon a head-to-head military fight in the western Pacific. However, I've been seeing a lot about thousands of Chinese men infiltrating the "migrant" stream coming to our southern border. One element not considered in the wargames I've read about is a Chinese fifth column creating chaos inside the US, coordinated with a massive cyber attack. This would drastically impact any potential war, and the threat of it could possibly even deter US intervention. Thoughts?

Could also be refugees, which fled during the last years of the ccp coming down on any dissent. Either way, should any shooting start - Taiwan would be finished as an industrial nation for at least a few years. The CCP depends on this being a success, so if they go they will most probably not want to quit regardless of the situation on the battlefield. Escalation is cheap when retreat is not an option. I think the US will not suffer that much (relative to all of the other countries involved), but Taiwan will either be flattened and free or under CCP rule. Both options suck.

Damn the average age of a Ukrainian fighter was 40 then a few months later it was 41 then a few months later it was 43 and now if what Erik is saying is true it is 46. Ukraine has lost a whole generation of men it is time that they stop this foolishness and do the peace talks and just draw the lines where they're at and lose that territory before they lose everything they have left. It doesn't matter how much any other country sends them in military aid if there is not men to use it. And when only 60% makes it to the battlefield and the other 40% gets sold off to other countries in armed groups and the money gets embezzled buy Ukrainian officials so that they have their nice thick bank accounts for after this crap is over to go live in a different country. We all have seen the videos of men being kidnapped off the streets in Ukraine the video where they stopped the public bus and wrestled with the man and took him the video where they stopped into a dentist office and took a man while he was working on somebody's mouth all to send them to the front line the men that are left are dressing as women to go to the grocery store so they don't get kidnapped. Where are they going to replace troops from when no one's left to kidnap? The war is over accept it Ukraine.

8:35 They definitely have the capability. The issue is China has the largest budget for disruptive capability, intelligence and counter intelligence out of any nation in world. They have 7 intelligence officers for 1 of ours (I mean the west, not USA) let that sink in.
