This seriously slays me every time. I'm not an overly emotional person, I'm a pretty reserved introvert, but this touches the deep core. It's about those details mixed all-together. It almost gets to the sensory level.

I understand you 100%. I'm a writer (living in Portugal right now) and one of my books "Um Eterno Minuto de Silêncio" (An Eternal Minute of Silence) was very much influenced [at the emotional level] by Klayton's music, to the point that i couldn't resist and "planted" an easter egg in it, mentioning "Celldweller" somewhere along the story. Not to brag, but that book was awarded with the "Alves Redol Prize", one of the most important recognitions of Literature in Portugal. Thank you, Klayton!

@NecroMelodia I'm guessing you believe that all bands/artists make every single song on their next album/EP purely between the time of the last album and the new one then? A lot of bands make songs way in advance and then remake them for release when they fit better with what they're putting out, so no, it's really not that hard to believe.

The intro and the first part of the chorus make me think it's about passing, ending, and sadness. Then I hear that one line. Some tears of laughter some tears of pain. That breaks me. It wasn't unfortunate events, a horrible betrayal, just sorrow. It's about the journey we all take and how the journey itself takes a massive toll on us, and no matter what we do we cannot escape it, it's outside of us and we are inside of it. Always breaks me down.
