This is what we need in the world. More multi instrumentalists. This dude is 53 years old and makes his own amazing music. I was sleeping and I ended up leaving my Spotify on and my ear buds on. I came across this song and I immediately, when the song was about to finish, added this song to my playlists. The percussion and singing style is freaking amazing and you don't hear this type of music today. It's all about sex drugs and money. This eras music isn't really music. Where's the emotion? The message? Why are we teens and children exposed to this type of vulgarity. That's why the world is screwed up. The music industry is controlled somehow. Because the artists that make actual music are not recognized at all. But then "music" you can't even understand half of the time and artists that are high all the time are completely rich and famous. We need more people like Klayton.

To me, at least, this song is like finding a comrade in arms when you're railing at existence and slowly burning into ash bit by bit. The process of, not the conclusion. Dying, maybe, but at least not yet dead. Be thankful you don't have a song you absolutely can't listen to because it gives you a near existence-terminating mental breakdown. And that's not an artistic exaggeration.
@FiltyIncognito4 жыл бұрын
Or at least, it used to. I've managed to survive until now, at least. But now, I guess, I'm too burnt out for it to bother me as much anymore. I've been burning for so long that I'm not mourning what I lost anymore. Now, this is just me.

@JannetFenix8 жыл бұрын
Despite all those people who say his older stuff was better, I say it was more "generic". But I won't say any of his works is better than another. Where his songs drop on lyrics, they gain back on complexicity of sound, much more layers that harmonize in orchestral-level of electronic-meets-rock. Where disbalance between electronic and rock goes visible, the song itself just happens to be too damn good to listen to to care. Where people complain he goes too much/not enough wub, his voice is what I could drown in. Where some say a song sounds too simple, the soft bass perfectly corresponding to the rest of the track hypnotizes you into images the song was meant to bring. And in most of the cases, all of these are just nailed! And when you though you heard everything, wooop, here comes scandroid, the voices in my head or transitions. The RANGE of his repertoir, that's what makes him amazing. Constantly switching, while staying geniously mesmerizing. Everyone will find something for themselves and maybe even discover way more on the way. You can't bind this man to such pathethic words like genre, style or target audience ;) And what a man, I say!
