*new song* "oh this is definitely my favourite" *new song* "oh this is definitely my favourite" *new song* "oh this is definitely my favourite" the cycle continues
It's an awesome feeling to suddenly recall a long lost band from over two decades ago (Circle of Dust), and find not only their original stuff but that Klayton is still making music today. Music is essentially a time machine for us all, allowing us a window back to where we were when we first heard it.....good and bad alike. I swear it feels like yesterday that my high school girlfriend (who listened to various Christian rock groups) introduced me to Circle of Dust. It opened my mind to an entirely new type of music that I somehow related to, despite an overwhelming majority of my friends calling it "noise". Circle of Dust (and everything else Klayton and Trent Reznor) taught me the value of being unconventional and, above all, doing what you love if for no other reason than you love to do it. Circle of Dust and Nine Inch Nails aren't "noise"; to me, noise is society subtly and not-so-subtly telling you who you should be and how you should act. Conforming for the sake of conforming is the path to extinction. Thank you Klayton for providing the inspiration and strength some of us need to break free from the mold society would just assume we are all made from.
@shadowprincess98178 жыл бұрын
I can very well relate myself with all you two said , I always was let say "outside" respect most of the people I know (even now I have very few people I can call friends ,and they are mostly weirdos like me in some way) I was told to act more like the others or otherwise I'll be alone and sad...well guess what society, I always was what I wanted to be and I'll always be that way ...I rather prefer be alone and sad but being myself than full of "friends" happy but something im not ...would be lie to myslef for the sake of others and that kills individuality and that is very bad...without individuality society is nothing more like a bunch of zombies and I see that this is ,sadly, very true even today, expecially today where if you dont dress/listen/do/think what you are told is "cool" then you are a loser and will get discrimianted for being different, as if being different is something bad, I much more prefer to say I am ME and I'll always be me no matter what!

Dear Klayton , this is gold on a musical level. The fantastic build up and release is ironically creating a sense of lift and unchainment rather than a shutdown. (Perhaps in defiance of it?) Either way , this should be praised for its subtle elements that keep the song completely balanced throughout.

I've been writing a character recently who has the problem of reality glitching out around him. I feel this song fits him really well, as he's currently trying to take command of this and make it into an asset rather than a hindrance. Also, source on the voice clips saying the stuff like "chaos, confusion, panic..."?

EariosRandomness if I remember correctly, Tracer from Overwatch has a similar problem. Something about having to keep some tech on her at all times or else she fades out of time/reality. Someone else feel free to correct me if that's wrong.
